THREE NEW VIDEOS DESIGNED FOR STAFF MEETINGS!
35-mins each (+ time to pause and discuss). Designed for staff meetings to give a practical, exciting vision for how we develop reasoning routines and build children as problem-solvers.
In RE we have been discussing what we can do to help other people , especially around this colder time of year.
We would love to fill a shoebox as part of the homeless appeal. @jmatschools
We are really excited about the FS Nativities to start of the Christmas Period at school followed by many other opportunities over the next and 2 weeks. Thursday's newsletter will include a reminder of the Christmas events as well as the party dates. @jmatschools
The Year 1 children have worked so hard with their monster toys today and last week. Both classes did an amazing job and it lovely to see lots of your adults involved. We hope you enjoyed the D and T learning experience. @jmatschools
All of the I See Reasoning eBooks use the same/similar titles, so children get used to the reasoning approaches. One of my favourites is 'How Many Ways?' which feature in the new Y1 and Y2 books:
***LITERACY STANDARDS***
Literacy lies at the heart of everything we do.
We know that strong reading, writing, and speaking skills are essential for students to fully engage with our ambitious, knowledge-rich curriculum and to succeed in all areas of life. That’s why we prioritise developing high levels of literacy across all subjects.
@MissCole279 has worked hard with our literacy lead to bring our strategy to life throughout school.
