I visited Patrick Kanyenya farm in Mwingi West Sub-county. I assured farmers who gathered at the farm that the County Government seeks to partner with farmers to enhance their production capacity, value addition and seek better markets for competitive prices

I visited Bazaar Mwingi West during my tour in the county. I also visited Rise Kenya mango value addition factory as well as Kitui Aloe Gardens Self Help Group. I witnessed the making of soap. I urge all Kitui households to consume local produce to grow our local economy

I launched cotton seeds distribution in Tseikuru town, Maseki and Ngomeni in Mwingi North Sub County.

The initiative is jointly funded through a partnership between the County Government Of Kitui, Meru and Kitui Ginneries and the Directorate of Fibre Crops.
