Lads just a gentle reminder expressing our emotions doesn't make us any 'less of a man'. Bottling our feelings can make our mental health worse. Release a pressure valve. Open up. Have a chat with your mate. It can be a huge relief & make a massive difference.
How do we open up supportive space in a busy hospital to hear each other's worries, exhaustion, & disillusionment, while also holding on to some hope & appreciation? A tricky balance. Maybe atm we might aim just to be present & sincere rather than trying too hard to get it right?
Remember that some are sad not directly because the Queen’s died but because it’s such a huge reminder of death itself. Maybe it brings back memories of the death of a loved one. If someone’s sad let them be rather than excitedly bringing out your “why I hate the monarchy” list
Huge thank you to the two @metpoliceuk officers that rushed my son to hospital last night when @Ldn_Ambulance said 45mins to an hour after a head injury and huge loss of blood... @metpoliceuk I would to thank these officers personally if possible if you can help.....
