Our experience drives innovation, we charter Walking Jackups to operate in surf and swell zones. Walking & moving above the waves limiting weather down time.
👷 It has been brilliant to see the local community taking a real interest in the WaveWalker. With the foundations of the new sea wall now in place, we look forward to continuing with our work to provide improved resilience for the railway line for generations to come.
@DawlishBeach Thank you @DawlishBeach and the community of Dawlish for welcoming the WaveWalker into the heart of your community. We are extremely proud to have been a part of the @SouthWestRRP project to protect and provide a resilient railway into the Southwest region.

👷♂️ We have made good progress which has enabled us to carry out piling for the next phase of the wall around Dawlish Station.
The WaveWalker has made it to Coastguards Cottages. Luke is due to walk back along the beach early next week to complete the piling nearer the viaduct. It was pouring down when I visited this evening but they are continuing to work hard through the night. @Wavewalkerbv
👷 Over the weekend, the team in Dawlish reached another milestone as they surpassed the halfway point in the piling process!
🎄 Work will now stop for Christmas and resume on Monday 4 January. Only skeleton staff will be on site to monitor the WaveWalker in case of storms.
🙌Our team at Dawlish met a big milestone last weekend, the 100th pile was installed!
🏗️116 of the 286 needed are now in, before we start building the new sea wall and promenade which will provide better resilience and public amenities for the town and the whole SW region.
🎄 Construction staff will be working on the Dawlish sea wall until Monday 21 December, when they will take a 2 week break for Christmas.
