@grugglas @SDonutin @AveugleMan @1oowiM The bosses in persona 4 from what I remember didn’t have any elemental weaknesses and were immune to status affects, 2 crucial parts of the battle system are functionally useless in boss fights leaving you with HP sponges that take forever to kill.

@SDonutin @AveugleMan @grugglas @1oowiM P4 has bad dungeons and terrible boss design that’s antithetical to the battle system. P5 kind of makes the main cast take a backseat in terms of development. But those shortcomings are overlooked by every other aspect being pretty good in the games unlike p3.

@AveugleMan @grugglas @1oowiM I feel like a lot of people overrate stories with sad themes/events in them to a massive degree. Persona 3’s thematic of death really masks the massive flaws that the story and game has, which is such a shame.
