@MrLinoma@HuskerBaseball And, to be clear, EVERYONE had a chance to buy season tickets since they do not sellout. Especially donors, who get first dibs on unclaimed seats at the beginning of the season. Plus preferred parking. But that’s not enough reward for supporting the football program, it seems.
@MrLinoma@HuskerBaseball We pay $510 every season and got displaced into GA. Are you saying we should have paid less to be prioritized by the Athletic Dept?
@RayLincoln82@HuskerBaseball Who is complaining about it? I’m pissed that the University screwed over hundreds of STH so that football donors could come to their first baseball games of the season.
@splral_ham@MrLinoma@HuskerBaseball I cannot tell you how many STH/donors I’ve heard from that had 2pm. Maybe you don’t need to be here defending an indefensible process.
@2601forestave@HuskerBaseball@Huskers Is there a baseball league in the country that doesn’t give postseason priority to season ticket holders? Try to understand why that is and then how this decision by the University is stupid on multiple levels.
Among the first things my family did when we came home six years ago was get season tix to @HuskerBaseball. Through bad weather, bad opponents, and some bad baseball--we have been there. Now, @Huskers have given our tickets away to donors. Abominable treatment of fans.
@sdd1963@HuskerBaseball@mitchsherman Husker Athletic Fund. There will be a few football donors at their first baseball game of the season this weekend.
@TheDudeAbides_x@HuskerBaseball Right?! This is literally how it works in every baseball league in the country. Even at a markup, STH get a chance to buy their seats (or others if NCAA takes them for visiting fans). This was craven and removes a ton of motivation to buy season tickets in the first place.
@RayLincoln82@HuskerBaseball Imagine being so apathetic that you think Season Tix and concessions at $40-$50/game isn’t enough already. Or that it’s fine for the AD to announce a different process mid-season.
