JUST IN: ALBANIANS CALL FOR PM EDI RAMA TO RESIGN AFTER STRIKING DEAL WITH JARED KUSHNER FOR PROTECTED COASTLINE
“Albania is not for sale. Albania belongs to the Albanian people, and we decide what we want to do here.
It's not that some corrupted politicians can decide what they can do with our property.
He's trying to trade our country as a personal property of him and his family and his collaborators.
We want him to resign.”
Here we go again
Farage now knowing that he potentially crossed a line with his desperate dog whistle which he set up to headline the day by doing it at 8am now starts to squirm and attempt to justify
The 'I suggested' means that he was not explicit despite saying he deliberately chose words
Seems he failed to consider the use of the word rage when he has proven he has been explicit about that previously
Yet more greenwashing from Ofwat. Welsh Water were caught. thanks to the efforts of the public, illegally dumping sewage into the enforcement, on a mechanised industrial scale.
Where are the investigations into executives, where are the prosecutions?
Nada, nothing, zero, zilch. What a joke.
What the bloody hell is wrong with people? 😡
'No signs of life' in River Lugg after John Price destruction
An ECOLOGIST has warned that it could take up to 30 years for a river that has no "signs of life" to recover after it was "obliterated" by a local farmer.
Although then and now photos show that the landscape around the River Lugg near Kingsland has been drastically transformed, an ecologist has warned it could take decades to fully recover after farmer John Price used an 18-tonne digger to dredge a section.
Price also stripped a mile-long stretch of the bank of trees back in 2020.
He was jailed for 12 months in 2023 by a judge who told him he had committed "ecological vandalism on an industrial scale" along a section of one of Britain's most important salmon rivers.
He had claimed he had carried out the work to help protect locals in the nearby hamlet whose homes were devastated by flooding and to help fix riverbed erosion.
But the Environment Agency said the damage was one of the worst cases of riverside destruction it had ever seen, leading to a "devastating" effect on local wildlife - which has still not recovered six years on.
Although trees, bushes, and greenery are growing back around the river, a leading ecologist believes there are "no signs of life" in the river itself.
Environmental designer Richard Fishbourne said: "It is quite disturbing to see how much damage one person can cause in just a couple of days.
"When I went down recently there was no sign of any fish where you would usually expect to see minnows, graylings, trout and salmon.
"There's just no sign of life - there's nothing in the water here now and it has become an impoverished landscape.
"It can take decades to build up this wonderful community of species and habitat but it can all be destroyed in a moment of insanity."

Failing sea defences 'disaster' for nature reserve
An internationally-important nature reserve faces "disaster" after being flooded by seawater because of failing coastal defences, conservationists have said.
The 120-hectare (300-acre) Farlington Marshes Nature Reserve near Portsmouth is designated as a Special Protection Area (SPA), Special Area for Conservation (SAC) and Ramsar site.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust has highlighted a failing tidal valve and crumbling sea wall which are letting salt water flood grazing marshland and wash away birds' nests and reed beds.
The Environment Agency (EA) said it was working to find a permanent fix but estimated it would cost about £90m to replace the entire 2-mile (3.5km) sea defence.
The site is home to bird species including bearded tit, avocet, redshank and lapwing.
Jamie Marsh, director of land management for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, said: "This is a bit of a disaster", with eight hectares of reed bed already lost.
"We have a tidal flap that's not sealing off properly and we're seeing water flooding into the site.
"The elevated sea levels have flooded out a lot of these areas and consequently flooded out a lot of the nesting areas. So nests have been lost."
Birds have been forced to move to higher ground to renest and rebreed.

Lady with red glasses, "Nigel Farage took a £5m payment from a crypto billionaire"
"Suddenly, Reform UK are a party for crypto currency"
"How are we to trust that you and your party wouldn't sell this off to the highest bidder"
"When you have a leader who runs your party who say up the IRA for £80"
Fiona Bruce, "I have no idea Nigel Farage said up the IRA for £80"
Clip of Nigel Farage saying just that #BBCQT
I see that #TwoTierPolicing is the top trending item this morning.
Let's make this very simple — it does not exist in the UK.
It is a racist dog whistle invented by the far-right, Reform UK.
🚨While Prime Minister can find time to meet the family of Henry Novak, Nigel Farage still can't manage to meet a single constituent 23 months after being elected. Mr Farage prefers to spend his days partying with Epstein client Peter Mandelson and inciting riots!
Thirty senior American psychiatrists and mental health experts have signed a statement declaring President Donald Trump mentally unfit to serve, warning that his sole authority over U.S. nuclear weapons poses a danger to the entire world.
According to the doctors, Trump’s behavior over the past year has shown “objectively observable signs of serious medical concern.”
They cited:
— a significant decline in cognitive functioning,
— episodes of apparent drowsiness during critical public appearances,
— severely impaired judgment and impulse control,
— loss of self-control,
— and grandiose or delusional beliefs, including claims of infallibility and imagery portraying himself as a figure with a “divine mission.”
The physicians argue that Trump now represents a “clear and present danger” and called for urgent action to remove him from office.
“It is our expert opinion that Donald J. Trump is mentally unfit to be president of the United States,” the statement reads.
The letter invokes the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which allows the vice president and cabinet to declare a president incapable of performing the duties of office.
One of the signatories, Dr. Henry David Abraham of Tufts University School of Medicine, warned about “the buildup of psychiatric symptoms in a person who has sole authority to launch nuclear weapons.”
He pointed to Trump’s April 7, 2026 Truth Social post regarding Iran, in which Trump wrote:
“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.”
According to the doctors, the warning signs include:
— grandiosity without restraint,
— paranoia,
— impulsivity,
— vindictiveness,
— uncontrolled rage,
— and a sense of omnipotence in a man with unchecked control over nuclear weapons.
Psychiatrist Bandy Lee, another signatory, said the issue now “transcends politics and concerns the survival of humanity itself.”
The statement was submitted to the U.S. Congressional Record by Democratic Senators Sheldon Whitehouse and Jack Reed.
The doctors emphasized that their declaration is “medical, not political,” and includes professionals with both conservative and liberal views.

Albanians are protesting Jared Kushner’s plan to turn an island into a billionaire playground.
Americans should be protesting the billionaire takeover of their government.
Hey America, be more like Albania. June 14th seems like a good day to start.
A flesh-eating parasite that was supposed to stay eradicated is now confirmed in Texas livestock, and you can thank the same administration that gutted the agencies built to stop it.
The New World screwworm, a parasitic fly whose larvae literally burrow through living flesh and can kill an animal if untreated, was officially detected in a three-week-old calf in Zavala County, Texas this week. This was not a surprise to anyone paying attention. The pest had been spreading northward through Central America and Mexico since at least 2022, and experts projected it would reach the U.S. by 2025.
What changed the math was the trump administration cutting roughly 15 percent of the USDA's entire workforce, around 15,000 people, including those responsible for monitoring and fighting exactly this kind of agricultural threat. The program that fights screwworms works by releasing millions of sterilized male flies to disrupt breeding, a slow, science-dependent, international cooperation kind of effort that requires, well, a functioning government.
Instead, DOGE took a chainsaw to the USDA so the wealthiest Americans could pocket a bigger tax cut, and now the cattle industry is staring down a potential $10.6 billion disaster.
And here is the part that hits everyone at the kitchen table: beef prices are already at a record high, with ground beef hitting $6.69 a pound in December 2025, up 72 percent since 2020. The screwworm border closures have already cut off over a million head of Mexican feeder cattle that American feedlots depend on, and the USDA is forecasting another 6.9 percent increase in wholesale beef prices in 2026. This is what happens when you gut the agencies designed to catch these problems early so billionaires can get a bigger tax cut.
The irony is almost too much: the ranchers and agricultural states that went hard for trump in 2024 are now the ones watching flesh-eating maggots show up in their herds. A #Texas state Republican rep had been sounding the alarm for over a year while, as he put it, "federal regulators moved at a snail's pace." That snail's pace had a price tag, and every American buying ground beef is paying it now.
