@BMAResidents@TheBMA I’m curious why there’s disproportionate conditions for doctors. After working in nursing for 20y, every other profession works 37.5h weeks. I just got my first F1 rota with some 60h weeks. As a nurse if I serve 5y, I get 8 weeks holiday. Why not medics?

@Dr__Sarmy ANP by background… completed med school and have to start as an F1. I have a mix of skills but my time as a doctor only just started.
Only med school can truly prepare you to practice medicine imo
