@ChrisBottaNHL League should invent a new 2 minute minor for “tripping”. That would deter players from, well tripping other players. But a 2-handed hack with clear intent to injure, that’s “OK”.

@Zibanejesus They all have to play their games. All outcomes are still possible. IRT Marky v Allen, through the preseason and early regular season Allen has been far more reliable than Marky. Allen can stand tall till Markstrom returns.

@DevilsRedAlert He’s not though. Beautiful goal to be sure but I counted 5 different times he ended up on his backside after taking contact, and that is against a largely sub-AHL level talent pool. He will likely struggle to defend at the nhl level.

@BarDown Arseni Gritsyuk is a dark horse entry. He is 24 years old so he’s more matured than grass green rookies, he’s had great success in the KHL, and he’ll get time at Jack Hughes’s wing. (KHL success doesn’t always translate though, so definitely a dark horse.)
