@mibpj2@tombob_13@minakimes Media likes his personality and the playoff run(where he wasn't even that good) inflated his reputation. He's going to need to miss the playoffs/have a few bad playoff exits for perception to get pegged closer to realitt
@neomarioism@GeoffRasmussen_ We saw just saw a game where yhe knicks were held to an 89 half court offensive rating. Do I think they'll be better than that in the series? Sure but its already clear the spurs defense has played far better than the previous teams they played
@xavierjdesigns None of those teams are as good as the spurs defensively. I mean we saw it last night. They seamlessly guarded the knicks off ball actions while teams like the hawks and sixers looked lost. If the knicks win the series, it'll probably be because of their halfcourt d.
@GeoffRasmussen_ Well yes,but the Spurs have faced teams all year trying to pull Wemby from the paint but they've mastered their defensive scheme in keeping him low. KAT had a few drives yesterday, but they were fairly stout with that yesterday even when Wemby was blitzing/hedging on brunson.
I wish Wemby dribbling off his foot to seal the game would signal the end of the Jamal Crawford dream.
I admit never really getting how imitating a very fun, but ultimately inefficient player, would help make Wemby his best self. And that imitation cost the Spurs a Finals game.
@ScottKacsmar The hype around the rams is largely due to the hype around stafford. If he viewed more accurately as qb 8-9(which hes closer than to elite) they wouldn't have this hype. But when you rack up unjust accoldades(like his mvp this yr) the undue hype is a given
@The_RedMonstar3@lastdanceszn Why cant they both fall off like the chiefs? They were gonna miss the playoffs with a below .500 record even before the mahomes injury
@Koolaidcooling@aryh21@ZikiVeryEpic Just insane to speak like this after the nuggets and jokic got knocked out by role players with their offense flaming out again
