Tesla has officially launched its Robotaxi service in Tampa and Orlando, Florida.
Unsupervised Model Y robotaxi rides are now available in these areas:
@sama We start flying them next year. Maybe you can come see them if your parole officer approves.
After stealing an open source AI charity, you then stole all of Apple’s phone technology! Wow.
What do you plan for an encore? That’s tough to beat.
As usual, legacy media is misrepresenting the situation.
I just asked Tesla & SpaceX to try out Grok 4.5 to see if it solves their task, not use it no matter what!
They should continue to use other AI models if those models outperform Grok.
Tesla Robotaxi Cleaning Robot update:
The Robotaxi Hub in Austin now has a cleaning robot built into the facility.
Permit TABS2025022006 explicitly lists a cleaning robot in the scope of work alongside Superchargers and an Equipment Inspection System.
Tesla teased the automated cleaning system last year. It is now permitted and built. The hub completed construction in March 2026.
As the Cybercab driverless ride begins, it feels like the end of the old and the beginning of the new.
Thank you, Model S and Model X, for leading Tesla to what it is today and making room for the new generation.
Tesla has officially announced that Cybercab rides (with no steering wheel or pedals) for employees at Giga Texas will start soon. https://t.co/mHCeXooxEH
