@MrsBker @Centrelink Empathy in this country is truly dead.
Our transition into USA lite is complete.
The majoity of Australians are now apathetic at best.
Be better than your neighbours, not empathise with them.
If only the bludgers on centrelink knew the stress of 2nd mortgage and new caravan.
@MFCIRed Thankyou.
Real empathy is greatly appreciated.
That is spot on.
As much as we need to move away from reassurance, it is sometimes nice to know we aren't the only one.
@Cernovich And we all will continue to suffer the mental and spiritual abuse.
There is no common goal we have as a species.
The brutal truth is even in our generosity we are self serving.
At best as a race we are apathetic.
By a far majority, we want to be controlled.
We are parasites.
@AshCurryOcd Always thankful to hear this.
I still doubt my OCD because I can't find any major underlying trauma.
I've wasted so much time looking for somthing that isn't there.
But my OCD is.
And it loves its doubt.
My grandmother had it, my mother had it and my grandmother had it.
@abcnews Wow Labor well and truly showing that empathy in this country is dead.
The Labor party I grew up with preached an ideal of looking after our most vulnerable above all else.
@AlboMP this is on you now.
Be courageous, always choose compassion over the economy
Please give us hope.
@elonmusk It's the social media town square reflecting the IRL town square.
Noone feels listened to any more.
Nothing feels authentic.
Everything is a grab for your attention not because they care about you or your opinion but to grab your $
Discourse isn't real, it's a marketing tool.
@adamfare1996 Such a good point.
It takes an enormous amount of strength, when in a position of vulnerability to actually ask for help.
We are told support will be there, the modern world cares.
"We got you"
My first time to the doctor he literally said "what do you want me to do about it?"
@OCDphilosophy Great description.
For me it's like being in a room with a wolf.
A wolf that has never actually attacked me.
Sometimes it's growling in your face, sometimes it's asleep in the corner.
But it's always there, always with you.
Waiting to pounce.
@adamfare1996 As incrediblt important as it is I'm starting to struggle with the word Trauma.
Not everyone whom has a mental illness suffered with some horrific traumatic event.
I feel like a fraud when I read that trauma must be the reason for an illness when its not always the case.
@obsessivelyocd It's like it pushes you into a nowhere zone, a place of intense terror.
Real but not real.
It's like as if you were watching a horror movie through the greatest most immersive VR set of all time.
