Winnipeg has set a new record for total annual precipitation, and there's still 1.5 months left in the year. Nice to get some sort of award for shovelling 4" of water off the back of my house at night back in April when it was pouring rain on frozen ground and 2 °C. #Winnipeg
WINNIPEG'S WETTEST YEAR ON RECORD!
As of this morning, the Winnipeg airport has set a new record for wettest year ever, surpassing 723.3 mm in 1962. The annual total will increase before the year ends. Records began in 1873.
