I've said it before and I'll say it again: Canadians love - want to be governed.

There is such a dependency on the state.

In the Alberta referendum, majority of voters voted to keep the unelected senate. They voted for unelected people to have legislative powers over them.
They literally voted against a democratic choice thus they voted against a democracy.

You couldn't even begin to convince an American that unelected people should have powers over them before you get thrown out.

The average Canadian supports basic dictatorship.

Alberta independence received ~25% of the vote, and already we’re being told the movement is dead, that we’ve been defeated, and that it’s time to shut up and move on.

Really?

Over the last 10 Alberta elections, the NDP averaged roughly 20% of the popular vote. At their lowest, they received just 8%. Yet they never abandoned their principles, never stopped organizing, and eventually formed government, reaching 44% of the vote.

And good for them! That’s how democracy is supposed to work.

I don’t agree with the NDP on much, but I respect their determination to keep advocating for what they believe in.

Why should Alberta independence supporters be expected to do anything different?

We now know our baseline. Roughly one in four voters supported our position. We’ve built organizations, established networks, and brought a conversation into the mainstream that was once considered unthinkable.

I accept the referendum results. I respect those who voted differently. But accepting defeat in one vote doesn’t mean abandoning your convictions.

To those celebrating our defeat, remember that democracy doesn’t end when your side wins.

The NDP never gave up. Why should we?

This isn’t the end of the conversation. It’s the end of the beginning.

To this day, I still believe that was a false flag event.

All the early evidence from this day was scrubbed off the internet.

The soldier's Facebook page - gone immediately.
The photo of his temporary visitor ID - gone.
The biographies of all the by-standers who first responded (i.e. the retired nurse) -never found.
Interviews with the first responders - never happened.
The bullet holes in parliament building that were just drill hole.
The RCMP officers with green and red shoes.

Just to name a few inconsistencies.

I remember spending months looking for data, and finding nothing. This is one of the days I realized our government would go to any ends to advance an agenda or distract from other events.

Why is Tommy Robinson on trial for harassment when he was simply telling the journalist he would treat him and his family the same way the Mail had already treated him and his children? The journalist published pictures and location details about his family holiday. He responded by saying he would do the same in return. Yet he is the one standing trial. Absolutely ridiculous.

Once again it proves the system is corrupt and they just want Tommy locked up and silenced.

I’m in agreement From Fox News. I wonder how loud it’ll get if Trump could pull this off. It will be interesting.
President Trump is asking everyone to share this, in three days, most people in the United States will have seen the message. This is an idea that should be passed around, regardless of political party.

The TRUMP Rules:

1. Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. And no more perks go with them.

2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as ALL Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise at the ok same rate as the COLA for monthly Social Security recipients minus 1% if having a budget balance deficit.

5. Congress loses their current care system and participates in the same health care system (Medicare) as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people (i.e. NO MORE INSIDER TRADING!!!).

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts by and for themselves.
Serving in Congress is an honor and privilege, NOT a career.

The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work … not get all kinds of freebies. Term limits of 2 terms and treat them like a regular citizen!
