Supply chains will increasingly treat materials as assets that can move through multiple lives.
Knowing what is inside a product, where those materials are, how long they can remain useful, and where they should go next will create enormous opportunity.

AWE Weekly Update (September W1)
Over the past week, we continued building toward the next phase of AWE while maintaining visibility across the AI ecosystem:
- AWE continued building out its product ecosystem, advancing its underlying product capabilities and infrastructure to support the next phase of product development.
- @polyvaults_ai continued improving its Thesis Indexes experience, making it easier for users to turn market views into structured prediction market indexes while using AI to better connect real-time market narratives with relevant prediction market opportunities.
- AWE continued gaining visibility across the Base AI ecosystem, once again being featured among AI projects building on @base, further highlighting its continued presence and growing role within the ecosystem.
Latest AWE Ecosystem Stats: 1.25M users, 692K inferences, 5,522 agents, 2.44M txns, 1.3M $AWE spent, 2.66M $AWE locked, 112K x402 txns.
Electricity markets were built around a fairly simple assumption to produce power, move it through the grid, and consume it.
Overtime, that has changed and become much more difficult with a growing share of electricity coming from sources that are hard to predict and demand itself is becoming more volatile.
AI can make the grid much more responsive. If you can predict demand more accurately, anticipate where renewable energy will be available, and move electricity to where it is most valuable at the right time, you don't necessarily need to build as much additional capacity.
You can get more from the infrastructure you already have. That has consequences outside the power grid. Better forecasting can mean lower costs for businesses, less wasted renewable energy, and less reliance on expensive generation when demand spikes.
We tend to think of the energy transition as a race to build more solar panels, wind farms and batteries. We need to become much better at deciding when, where and how we use the energy we already produce and AI could make the electricity market considerably more intelligent.
Progress starts with people.
This Labor Day, PAI3 celebrates the builders, operators, engineers, and teams whose skill and dedication keep our communities and infrastructure moving forward.
Thank you for the work you do and the care you bring to it. Happy Labor Day from PAI3.

Food prices are influenced by things such as dry season, unexpected pest outbreaks, and much more. All these make precision agriculture an interesting focus area.
Sensors, drones, satellite imagery and AI can give farmers much better information about what is happening in a field and where resources are needed. Water and fertilizer can be targeted instead of applied uniformly, while problems can potentially be identified before they become expensive losses.
Using fewer inputs lowers production costs, and reducing the impact of weather and other shocks can make food supply more predictable.
That is important because food security is also an economic stability problem. Some of the most valuable applications of AI may therefore have more use helping us produce the physical things that economies depend on, with fewer resources and less waste.
IFM, the Abu Dhabi based AI research institute, has released six models with their training data, code, methodologies, model weights, and intermediate checkpoints.
It is such a complete form of openness. With an open-weight model, researchers can use the system, but they may have little visibility into the data, training decisions, or process that produced it. IFM is making that development trail available for others to examine and reproduce.

The next evolution of capital markets isn’t just putting assets on-chain.
It’s making those assets productive.
Borrow against your position. Keep your exposure. Access liquidity without selling.
That’s where on-chain credit starts to matter.

We are going to see a lot more money move into companies building the layer between AI and actual work. The interesting part is that investors are willing to put that kind of capital behind the idea that AI agents will become part of how businesses operate.
We have spent the last few years putting AI beside people. Now, we move to putting AI inside the work itself.
