Welp, it finally happened: I lost my undefeated Wordle streak. Until today, I’d skipped a day or two but never actually lost. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Now I don’t have to stress on the mornings I get to a fifth guess!
@ShannonGaitz Energy follows attention. I’m begging everyone who loves Cerie to believe in a happy ending for once! (I can actually picture a world where Ozzy brings her to the final three. Or maybe she crushes fire-making this time!)
@lxeagle17 You are embarrassing yourself. Kat Abughazaleh was on the front lines for weeks protesting ICE at a detention center, which is very much the antithesis of being Very Online. (Also, FWIW, she declared her candidacy before Jan Schakowsky retired, unlike Daniel Biss.)
@stephenfishbach FINALLY
(I love you, Stephen. Always have, always will ... but last week's Fishy call was gobsmackingly shortsighted. Thankfully RHAP has @ShannonGaitz to keep everyone on track with strategy breakdowns.)
Wintrust Bank scandal reminds me of when I used AI to create a cartoon of Ald. Moore's "Backbiting snake!" tantrum. I rightly got an earful from readers, and promised not to use AI for SBC images again!

As always, Susan Collins counted votes and decided she could vote no and the bill would still pass, thus saving her golden seat in the Senate. She and Murkowski seem to have a pact--whose turn is it to vote no this time?
@LeighGiangreco Not defending the CTA’s poor overall performance, especially during rush hours. But I have definitely waited much longer than that for nighttime trains in New York, Berlin, and Paris.
@SurvivorSpclsts I think Shauhin’s edit is pretty good. Think about how he helped drive the David blindside — we got a great confessional plus a flashback segment (!) about how he spent days subtly laying the groundwork for that move.
@RedmondSurvivor Thank you for this post. I was just checking Inside Survivor yesterday. When do they head out to film — June? Cause I’m marking my calendar!
"It fits the moment, both for Lookingglass as a company, and also for our community and society as a whole. Deep down, it’s a story about wanting to be somebody else, dreaming about being somebody better." https://t.co/us3yqjapFs
