I've been using /goal for a lot of different tasks and have experimented with both helpful and ridiculous goals.
Here are some learnings/tips from that 👇
@robinebers Yes and no. I work for one of the banks in the UK as a relationship manager, and the majority use GPT. Claude is also mentioned, and people are using it. The problem is that the job uses Codex. The majority are not technically savvy.
Well, my Google sign-in button wasn't working in development, so I logged into Google Console, and Codex made all changes. Then I logged into Supabase so Codex could verify all settings are correct. Next, I will ask it to set up RevenueCat in my React App and also connect it to the App and Play Stores.
Hermes Agent comes with a truly absurd number of skills pre-enabled. Over 100 of them. This is roughly half.
I get what they're going for - they want an agent that comes "ready out of the box".
I just don't get why every user has to have a polymarket skill, 3 baoyu art skills (? never heard of this), a headless Pokemon skill, and Minecraft modpack server skills, all available the first time they run it.
I guess Hermes Agent just isn't for me.
@robinebers Exactly, I used to use Perplexity Comet for that by copying and pasting between chats with as much context as possible. I think Perplexity may start slowly winding Comet down.
