Dearest gentle reader,
It seems this author has come to learn that even the strongest of hearts may falter when touched by a presence once cherished too deeply to be forgotten.

as though I schooled the deaf in musicโs art;
When the nights begin to yearn,

that never asked, but still remained.
I donโt chase the wind or call thou name,
but when the moon turns slow and shy,
know that somewhere in the hush,
my heart still waits, and thinks of thy.
