@TonyKhan , please make @StreamOnMax understand something for me. I’ve purchased every ppv since they started carrying them on HBO MAX. It’s truly the best way to watch these. Stream quality is impeccable. Last ppv, they locked the buy in behind a pay wall and told me I would have buy their sports tier to be able to watch a free program. I declined and told them I would just watch it on YouTube and switch over at the beginning of the ppv. They ended up giving a three day pass on their sports tier, which I was grateful for since it meant I didn’t have to switch back and fourth. They never could figure out what I mad about. Sports programming, you have to pay more for that. I said I just gave you $40 for the show that is attached to it.
Fast forward, I just attempted to purchase Double or Nothing and thought, you know, I’m gonna check and see if anyone actually listened to my complaint. It appears they did. Buy in loaded straight to my watch list with no special subscription upgrade screen or anything so it looks like somebody with a brain works there. Then I clicked the purchase button in the app like I have for every other AEW ppv. This is normally where my phone pops up the charge and I pay it by double clicking the side button on my phone. NOT ANYMORE.
Now, it tells you that you can no longer purchase things in the app and you must use the web link. Ok, so I click the buy button that pops up and then it says you are not allowed to make changes to your subscription.
Wow, ok. I finally get a real person on their site chat and explain this is something I’ve done multiple times, what changed? By this point, I’m getting frustrated so I explain the issue I had last month with the buy in and them wanting me to purchase their sports tier so I could watch the first hour of a ppv that I gave them $40 to view. She says the reason you can’t watch that is because you don’t have our sports tier. STOP!!!
I explained that that wasn’t an issue this time and I was able to add it to my watch list without issue so they fixed one issue but broke another one because it wasn’t letting me purchase the ppv like I have done since they began offering them.
Finally out of frustration, I just opened the app on my tv and purchased it because she failed to understand what I was talking about.
When our chat ended I wrote her a very long and very detailed complaint about how they fixed one thing but broke another in its place. I explained that the “Buy In” show was meant to drive more ppv buys and was adjacent to the ppv and should never be locked behind a pay wall. That’s common sense and probably cost MAX ppv buys. Which, in turn, costs TK in lost revenue.
Just wanted to bring it to your attention and call them out on their bs a little.
Thank you for everything Tony. I’ll kiss your ring in this house. 🤣

@Vanguard_io I would love to see scammers like this brought to justice.
Sucks for you, I called your rug day four days ago when you kept yelling about that announcement today and took profits yesterday. Thanks scammers!
@EyE_dIg_GrAvEs@TonyKhan The PPV streamed fine, Zero Hour on the other hand never came on.
Just kept showing your event will begin shortly. Had to jump over to YouTube and caught the last match.
