One thing about Andoni Iraola is that his substitutions can look confusing at first, but later you start to understand the plan. 🔴👏
The Araújo experiment at right-back wasn't working in the first half. The idea was for him to move into midfield, but it came at a cost. We were leaving the right side exposed and struggling to control the game. Iraola recognised it and made the change at half-time.
Then this man moved Gravenberch to right-back and introduced Wirtz into midfield. At first, I was confused. Gravenberch at right-back? But suddenly, we were winning the ball back more easily, pressing with greater intensity and creating more through the middle.
We needed a creative playmaker, not just someone to carry the ball. Wirtz improved our link-up play and helped Gakpo get more involved. The whole team looked different.
We went from 2-2 to 4-2 in three minutes. This is why Iraola deserves more appreciation. He's willing to take risks, recognise when something isn't working and change the game.
Forget just the goals. Look at how his tactical changes transformed the team. Iraola, take your flowers. ❤️👏
@kaelthecreathor@LFCLaurie No he wasn't playing like this few games ago, he was giving away the ball while trying to make a 5 yard pass, now he isn't doing that.
Points deduction should be the least punishment they receive.
Does the Premier League judicial system realise the gravity of City’s offences?
They literally committed the biggest financial crimes in the history of football, not just English football alone.
They robbed clubs of titles, robbed players of honours, and cooked the books with fabricated and manufactured revenues from non-existent companies.
To make things worse, they didn’t comply with the authorities. Instead, they accused the authorities and threatened the entire league.
They should be exiled from the English game forever and have all their titles stripped.
This should be the minimum:
- Trophies stripped (about 20 ish not many to worry about)
- Expulsion to Non-league
- Owners removed
- 10-year transfer ban
- Etihad returned back to council
- £1bn fine

@CallM3D4ddy_@lfcG122@NottherealDjimi He did great against City, he has ability but most will depend upon the confidence after that red card, also the most worrying part about him is his decision making and passing once he gets past the players, that was the reason we conceded against Newcastle. Yes Mac should start.
