@GaryMarcus I'm perfectly okay with government regulations on these things. But this was clearly a directed attack on Anthropic specifically, probably hoping to harm their upcoming IPO as punishment for standing up to them a couple months ago.
Ironically it will likely help the IPO
@PhillyD I'll never give Mr. Beast one view or one cent of my money but I'm glad you weren't Squid Games'd out of existence. Still waiting for his inevitable SAW turn.
@EliasToufexis Would have preferred Sebastian Stan for Harvey Dent personally, but, Brian Tyree Henry is a fucking great actor.
Got wasted on Eternals unfortunately. The "I've been wanting to clip your wings for a long time Ikaris" bit is one of the (few) highlights of the movie.
@harleyf Update: that's not how valuations of countries work, embarrassing that you don't know that.
And it's objectively bad for civilization for any individual to be worth more than any remotely developed nations.
@PaulTassi With Batman part 2 likely following up on some of it, I'd be interested in them making a bit of a theme of that?
Limited series connecting the movies, focusing a different villain each time? Like, minor villain appearance, limited series, next part major/established villain
@HQNewsNow Even if that were true, which it very obviously is not... that would mean they just let every company in America raise the price of, well, everything, constantly, for months... based on... nothing, drive up inflation, tank the economy... just cause? The man is a moron.
@PaulTassi I was gonna shit on this BUT my take is: some devs could get some work out of this in the meantime with all the layoffs the last couple years, and Paramount will never make anything back from it.
So I see it as a W. Keeps people in the industry, makes Paramount lose money.
