@PostOpinions It's a tax on non wage income, and you cite wages that GS-13 would earn as it being a tax on educated professionals. Do you know what wages are? That is dishonest.
Kenyan McDuffie is not telling the truth. He said in tonight's debate that he wrote DC's Renewable Portfolio Standard and 2018 clean energy law. That's a lie. He wasn't even a co-sponsor. Mary Cheh wrote the law; McDuffie undermined it.

I guess I’ll just say it is a failure of DC that everyone heard the rumors about how Swalwell used his position to hook up with younger staff and interns, but no one ever reported on it until now. Clearly that sense of “not my business” allowed him to do much, much worse.
Time: Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is signaling he’ll support anti-Schumer Democrats running in key states if they win their primaries, including Graham Platner, according to party insiders.

@_giacomo_volpe_ Mills #1 old as shit and #2 relatively unpopular. If there were a younger person running with less baggage they might be leading. Like at her age there is a 30% chance she dies before the end of her term. Not running for a second is lip service to the fact she is old.
@mattyglesias@LoganDobson Did Mills do something to piss off a large segment of Vocational workers?
Her #'s
HS grad: 28%/64%
Vocational: 19%/72%
Some/associates: 34%/59%
College Grad: 51%/45%
Post-graduate: 58%/36%
@LoganDobson Relative to Mills he is loved by the working class. What the hell did she do to people with Vocational degrees?
HS grad: 28%/64%
Vocational: 19%/72%
Some/associates: 34%/59%
College Grad: 51%/45%
Post-graduate: 58%/36%
@nothappyfunball@admcrlsn It is stupid for Democrats to support that. I give King a little credit as he was an incumbent and in a bad election year. Every octogenarian is a liability.
@admcrlsn There would be a 25% chance with Mills, King, Bernie and Markey that all 4 would make it through the first 4 years. And less than 20% chance that all would make it to the end of their terms. Then factor in the odds for Blumenthal, Hirono and Welch. It is reckless.
Jesus, @SenMarkey is running for reelection? Not like we haven't been screwed over by old Senators for Massachusetts before. About a 35% chance someone of his age will die over 8 years.
The stupidity of running a soon to be 79 year old is remarkable. I hope Platner believers are right about him.
