We wanted to let you know that we’ve had to delay the start of our family Nature Club sessions this year - but we hope to be back soon! Here’s why: https://t.co/z6ZwyyyO9F (photography by Lindy Rogers)
@Ronan_Conlon@Meta@facebook@instagram@MetaNewsroom@mosseri Same happened to us last weekend. 6+ years of community support in Liverpool evidenced on there and thousands of followers. Now we have no effective way to connect with our community and service users. It’s devastating for small, grassroots social enterprises like ours.

What a great morning at @springwoodheath school delivering a staff Wellbeing Workshop. Such a great team of staff who made me feel very welcome and got stuck into all the activities! Thanks for having me along. Nicola.
Thinking of all affected by today’s tragic incident in Southport.
It’s so sad to think of such things happening anywhere - but especially at places created to support children and families and bring people joy.
Community activities that help children improve their help were a theme in #TheBigAmbition:
"[Government] should refurbish parks with sports pitches & exercise equipment so people that don't have a garden to exercise have a place to keep fit & healthy." - Boy, 11
#100Voices
In #TheBigAmbition, children shared with me ideas to support involvement in extra-curricular activities:
"The government needs to prioritise spending on things for children to do when they are not in school. Youth & sports clubs that are not too expensive." - Boy, 11
#100Voices
Children want schools to give them opportunities to live healthy lifestyles. One girl, aged 11, told me in #TheBigAmbition:
"I think the government should focus on more healthy food options in schools... and also have more exercise instead of [just] once a week."
#100Voices
The workshop supported positive wellbeing, which would help equip the girls with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of adolescence.

At The Old Library, Jill led a transformative session of engaging creative therapeutic art activities for young girls aged 11-12. Jill provided a safe space for expression and exploration.
Jill Fitzpatrick (MSC Psychotherapy & Counselling – Contemporary Creative Approaches student) volunteered to hold a creative workshop for Liverpool-based CIC, Strengthening Wellbeing Together.
We’ve loved bringing our Family Nature Club sessions to Tuebrook Children’s Centre over the last 4 weeks. Big thanks to all of the wonderful families who came & to the brilliant staff at @west_yew 💚 #strongertogether
..."from six or seven years old play is gone …it’s brutal, children aren’t ready." Children don't have time, space or opportunity to play, with awful consequences for their health. Playing outside should be an everyday thing for all children, everywhere.
