METEOR ☄️ FRENZY
I have good news and bad news.
I spent the day collecting every single meteor sighting I can find from the last several days.
Good news: increased sightings match uptick in social media posts about “going out to catch one on camera” and there is not a meteor storm.
Bad news: HALF OF THE VIDEOS ARE NOT METEORS. Moving too slowly to be a meteor (again, about half). There is a UAP uptick right now and a preponderance appear to resemble landing vehicles rather than space rocks.
Calling it how I see it. I know meteors.
Here we have fireball sightings over the USA summed by month via NASA data from 2018 to March 2026 (present). Currently we're 4.5 standard deviations above the average of ~2 fireball sightings per month for this timeframe. Keep in mind no big meteor streams are known for March, though some much lesser ones exist. AGAIN NOT NORMAL
