@LandRover_UK water teaming into my 2016 discovery sport from the roof and my local official service centre have no idea how to fix it. Do you expect this from a 6 year old, supposedly luxury car? I didn’t! #moneypit
@LlyrDerwydd @JoeCrofts Reminds me of camping up on the side of the valley as a kid. Terrified by the sound of an old man coughing, turned out to be one of the local hill farmers sheep!
“Restoring the Brecon Beacons’ original name is not part of a ‘woke’ agenda. It’s just Welsh people, speaking Welsh in Wales.”

@Personoftalent@CarrieAHarper I originally come from Blaenau Gwent, I can’t speak Welsh ( Google Welsh knot for reasons ) but I’m happy about this change and can do a decent job of pronouncing most Welsh words.
We tend to speak Wenglish and “cymricise” English eg Sospan vs Saucepan so the sounds are familiar
We need a railway system where we can travel North-South in our own country.
£6bn of Welsh taxpayers money is being used in England whilst our own rail is massively underdeveloped!
We need to sign and share ✍️

@Dan5346 @OwsWills Funny thing is a lot of the anglicised versions are way harder to pronounce than the original. Eg watch young kids struggle to say Abergavenny and then see how much easier y fenni is
@daveprescott11 @OwsWills @grump999 @RhonddaBryant I’m not a Welsh speaker but I am 100% supportive of their real names being restored. I don’t find it insulting in any way.
That’s what a small boat with human beings looks like trying to cross the channel ( we all looked on in silence ) - Dwarfed by the cross channel ferry I was on . Not only must they be petrified and cold but now they’ll be held like criminals and sent somewhere they dont know
“If they really are refugees, why don’t they have to stay in the first safe country they reach?”
“Why don’t they just claim asylum in France?”
Here is my answer, once & for all. To Jonathan Gullis, and to everyone else who ever wondered.
