On May 12, 1914, just two weeks before the assassination that sparked World War I, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in the quiet village of Hrushiv, in what is now part of Ukraine🇻🇦

Twenty-two local people were mowing hay in the fields near the historic Church of the Holy Trinity when they suddenly witnessed a heavenly vision. The Mother of God stood before them, radiant and full of maternal concern. News spread quickly, and crowds from surrounding areas gathered as the apparition continued into the next day.

⭐ According to the witnesses, Our Lady delivered this powerful and prophetic message:

“There will be a war.
Russia will become a godless country.
Ukraine, as a nation, will suffer terribly for eighty years, and will have to live through the world wars, but it will be free afterwards.”

She also urged prayer, fasting, penance, and hope amid the coming trials.

This apparition stands out because:

🔹 It happened before the famous Fatima apparitions (1917) and carried a very similar warning about Russia turning away from God.
🔹 The prophecy was strikingly accurate, Ukraine endured two world wars, decades of Soviet oppression, and immense suffering, finally regaining independence in 1991 (about 77 years later).
🔹 The site, the wooden Church of the Holy Trinity, later became known for even larger reported apparitions in 1987.

In a time of rising global tension, Our Lady came as a Mother of Mercy, warning her children while offering hope of eventual freedom through conversion and prayer.

The Eucharistic Miracle of Legnica, Poland (2013)

On Christmas Day 2013, at St. Hyacinth’s Shrine in Legnica, a consecrated Host fell to the floor during Communion. It was placed in holy water to dissolve per Church custom.
After about two weeks, the Host had not fully dissolved. A red spot appeared on its surface, later identified as human heart muscle tissue showing signs of agony. DNA tests confirmed it was human.

In 2016, Bishop Zbigniew Kiernikowski officially recognized it as a Eucharistic miracle with “the hallmarks” of a supernatural event. The relic is now venerated in a golden monstrance at the shrine, drawing pilgrims worldwide.

It is seen as a sign affirming the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

The 15 secret tortures of Jesus Christ

1 . Dragged with a Rope: They fastened His feet with a rope and dragged Him over the stone steps of a staircase into a filthy cellar.

2. Stripped and Stung: They removed His clothing and stung His body with iron instruments or joints.

3. Pulled by Rope: They tied a rope around His body and dragged Him across the ground from one end to the other.

4. Hanged and Dropped: They suspended Him from a wooden beam with a slipknot until He slipped and fell, causing Him to weep bloody tears from the pain.

5. Pierced at a Post: They tied Him to a post and pierced His body with various sharp tools or weapons.

6. Burned with Embers: They struck Him with stones and burned His flesh with blazing embers and torches.

7. Torn with Spears: They pierced His skin, flesh, and arteries with awls and sharp spears.

8. Forced on Hot Metal: They made Him stand barefoot on a heated metal sheet.

9. Iron Crown and Blindfolded: They crowned Him with an iron crown and wrapped His eyes with filthy rags.

10. Nailed Chair: They forced Him to sit on a chair embedded with sharp nails, causing deep wounds.

11. Molten Lead and Resin: They poured molten lead and resin (or tar) on His wounds and pressed Him again onto the nailed chair, driving the nails deeper.

12. Needles in Beard Wounds: They drove needles into the holes left from His uprooted beard to shame and torment Him.

13. Tied to a Cross: They threw a cross on Him and bound Him so tightly that He could barely breathe.

14. Stomped and Pierced Tongue: When He fell, they stomped on His head and chest, and one drove a thorn from His crown into His tongue.

15. Defiled with Excretions: They poured the most foul excretions into His mouth while hurling vile insults at Him.
