Charged possibly, convicted not probable without extenuating circumstances. The law was written to make the castle doctrine very strong. If you shoot someone almost always you will be arrested. If within the law you can expect to have charges dropped if you are charged. Some judges I’m sure have different interpretations but as I said there are several other states where it is even more in favor of the property owner. Most sane people don’t shoot others over a damn car unless they legitimately believe you will hurt them. That may be a very short leap for a more fearful person. Again maybe don’t exact violence to a car because you are big mad at the guy highlighting government spending concerns. The agency head owns the decisions of what to do with the data. That is literally their job. Sheep are easily led I guess

I typically appreciate your post as right on target but this is giving look down on others as I put myself on high energy. Many who sit in judgement are one catastrophic event away from needing help to feed their family. It can happen to all of us and be grateful not to be in that position. Yes it gets abused, but it also is a lifeline for many.

It’s definitely classified in the DSM… that’s how they get insurance to pay for all the drugs etc. Pharma can’t get rich if insurance doesn’t pay for the drugs/surgeries which means there has to be a diagnostic code/diagnosis to bill under for payment. They don’t care about the people they care about the 1 million each new patient will bill over lifetime

Any parent that believes they could cause death to their child will move heaven and earth to avoid it. Unfortunately the Drs statement is not backed by data and the family pays the price

@beyoncegarden I think the point was to demonstrate available security options, not to use all of them, I hope. I travel a lot. I don’t worry about the room, I worry about the walk to the car. Specifically, am I in a state that I’m going to prison when I shoot someone who means me harm 🤷🏻‍♀️
