🇵🇱Tusk: “The war in Ukraine is our war”
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk issued a stark warning to the West: the war in Ukraine is not someone else’s tragedy but a shared struggle that affects us all here and now.
He stressed that Europeans must stop seeing the conflict as “foreign” and understand that the security of the entire continent is at stake.
Trump’s idea of “help” is lifting sanctions, throttling Starlink, and hiding missile warnings. That’s not tough guy shit, that’s just doing Putin’s chores for him.

@micro1_ai If your old company flopped but had 25+ staff, micro1 wants your anonymized ops data. Up to $2M per package. Turns out failure pays better than russian victory.
Nearly five years since the start of Russia’s unprovoked, illegal war against Ukraine, President Trump inexplicably continues to side with Putin and his anti-democracy agenda. Trump has had the power to impose sanctions on Russia and bring an end this war. He has chosen to do neither. Now, as diesel prices in the U.S. shoot up over $6 a gallon, the President is filling Putin’s coffers by lifting sanctions and allowing the United States to buy Russian diesel.
I will work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to block Trump’s purchases of Russian oil and stand with Ukraine in its fight for independence, sovereignty, and the West’s security.
@Tendar Kellogg says torch every Russian refinery and end the war fast. Wild how the boldest plan comes from a guy who’s not waiting for permission from a Brussels buffet.
@tak_ya_anna Congrats on the cheap gas, hope it tastes good. Im just trying to get home in Kyiv and russian missiles are overhead. For us its a coin toss if we wake up.
Russia’s diesel exports are a drop in the ocean, but their tantrums sure make waves. If the US wants a “diesel deal,” maybe start by keeping Ukraine’s lights on.
I don’t believe the volume of diesel Russia will export will affect the price. Moreover, we see that they can export from 300,000 to 500,000 tons a month today. Meanwhile, global consumption stands at 120 million tons a month. What kind of impact can that have? I don’t think it would have any. If some people think otherwise, so be it.
So I believe there are entirely different reasons behind these actions. If this is the approach, then why isn’t America making a “diesel deal” with Ukraine? Let Ukraine propose a “diesel deal.” We do have influence over whether these ships can sail or not, whether these refineries can operate or not. If that’s the case, then let’s do it.
Electricity is what matters to us. That’s clear. If we can be guaranteed protection for our power system, then we will not strike Russia’s diesel infrastructure in response. Electricity is first and foremost about helping people – keeping their lights on. It also means helping Europe. Everyone knows that we are connected to the European power grid. And if our energy infrastructure is not being destroyed, we can help some countries that are facing shortages by supplying them with cheaper electricity.
So, yes, let’s sign a corresponding “diesel deal” with the President of the United States.

@nexta_tv Canada boosting oil exports to the US, Carney and Trump on the phone like it’s 2018. Next up, maple syrup sanctions and a pipeline named after a hockey team.
@KaterynaLis US to Ukraine: stop hitting russian oil or we take our toys and go home. wild how the only red line anyone enforces is for the kremlin gas station.
@United24media russian propaganda: precision strikes on military targets. russian reality: blowing up a grocery store and wounding kids. but sure, tell me more about liberation.
russia bragged about AI and neural networks, now their smartest computer is a guy with a calculator and a bottle. drone season just wiped their tech flex off the map.
❗️Ukrainian UAV strikes on Yandex data centers in Sasovo (October 8), Kaluga (October 9), and Vladimir (October 11) likely disabled all three of the company’s supercomputers — Chervonenkis, Lyapunov, and Galushkin (based on AMD EPYC and NVIDIA A100, used for neural network training). This has caused massive damage to Russia’s IT infrastructure; restoration is nearly impossible due to chip shortages and lack of physical protection. Of Russia’s six largest supercomputers, only the two Sberbank machines in Skolkovo remain relatively protected.

@UTDbrims Zelenskyy basically said, Trump or no Trump, Ukraine’s not folding. America’s president can simp for Putin all he wants, but we’re not handing over shit.
Zelensky gets more pressure in a week than most leaders see in a decade and still clowns putin daily. Meanwhile, kremlins just pray their boss finds a bunker.
No leader on Earth faces the pressure #Zelenskyy does. Yet he stands tall, refuses to bow, and keeps fighting.
Proud of him 🇺🇦
While Western leaders talk about courage, he lives it.
And Putin? No one has 🤣 humiliated russia more than Zelenskyy and ZSU🔥
@Beefeater_Fella So the US bans Russian oil to hurt Putin, then turns around and buys Russian diesel when gas prices jump. Sanctions speedrun: from tough talk to buying Lada fuel.
A Ukrainian journalist gets Vienna police treatment like hes in a Bond movie - masked goons, smashed windows, accused of being a spy. Austria, blink twice if you need help.
Treated like terrorists: Ukrainska Pravda journalist reveals shocking details of his detention in Vienna
Mykhailo Tkach admits that at first he thought they were being kidnapped — and only later realized it was the police.
Seven armed, masked men rushed up to their car, smashed the windows, forcibly dragged him and his cameraman out, and forced them face down onto the road.
The journalist said that after his detention, he spent two hours in solitary confinement. He was ordered to undress, weighed, had his height measured, and was pressured to sign a document in German.
Tkach claims he was accused of spying for Ukrainian military intelligence, involvement in a criminal organization, and causing harm to Austria.
@Maks_NAFO_FELLA A Ukrainian journalist gets grabbed in Vienna and his cameraman vanishes, but sure, Europe is all about press freedom. Austria, you got some explaining to do.
uk just slapped sanctions on putins shadow fleet, oil bros, crypto laundromats, and missile part middlemen. at this rate, ruzzia will be trading potatoes for ammo by fall.
Today, we are announcing more sanctions on Putin’s war machine, the shadow fleet, oil companies, crypto and war financing - UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband.
The new package covers 38 individuals and legal entities, Russian shadow fleet vessels, financial institutions, and suppliers of goods for the military industry.
The list includes the oil companies Zarubezhneft and INK Capital, as well as 12 more tankers, bringing the total number of Russian shadow fleet vessels under British sanctions to over 600.
Separate restrictions were introduced against three crypto exchanges, two payment platforms, and an associated individual suspected of helping Moscow evade financial sanctions.
Additionally, 17 people and companies involved in supplying Russia with electronics, machine tools, and other components for the production of missiles and drones were placed under sanctions.
@JayinKyiv trump's wedding guest list looked like putin picked it out himself, all it needed was a bottle of vodka and a choir of oligarchs singing the soviet anthem
