What does 21st January mean to you?
For me it will forever be the day my life changed
Today, 6 years ago, when I was 18, I was diagnosed with sarcoma.
I had to release a blog today, was only right. Hear my thoughts, share the word - sarcoma is cancer!

Accurate information about sarcoma should equip and empower everyone who needs it, when they need it.
In the next five years, here's how we plan to reach more people with the vital information they need.

@Val_BB Thanks for all your hard work, Val. Organising us volunteers so that everyone’s confident in what they’re doing. Great team work and good to see so many people moving through the centre and receiving vaccinations 👏
My heartfelt condolences to LaTroya and Sherwin’s family and friends. Hearing their story on BBC Breakfast today again highlighted the lack of sarcoma awareness among HCPs and the tragic consequences of this
This is a tragedy for Sherwin Hall’s friends and family and should not be happening- sarcoma and other cancer diagnostics and treatments should not be put on hold during the pandemic- cancer patients deserve better https://t.co/e2zssCiRMK
@becmcostello @DoreenDooley10 @Vicconruth@BunnageJane Excellent poster @becmcostello The integrated Cancer Care Coordinator role is a great intervention for providing personalised care and improving the patient and carer experience. Well done all @DoreenDooley10 @maz_shaw
Great Acute Oncology Patient Voice mtg with @LlawrenceGM this afternoon. Overview and update on workstreams was excellent - lots of discussion and opportunities to give input. AO developments will make a real difference to the patient and carer experience
Thank you so much for these beautiful flowers from the fabulous service user representatives involved with SNHSFT and Macmillan in the Personalised Care for Cancer Project - very lovely of you 🙏

This time in three weeks, I shall have completed my #marathon. I will have #walked 26.2 miles.
Please, please, share my #sponsorship page. No child, particularly at 16 months, should have to go through what Kate did.
