@michaeljknowles This is right. For decades, this story could have broke to actual political effect, but once he can’t defend himself, and, more importantly, sue his slanderers into the ground for defamation, then it breaks. That’s suspicious
@LizzieMarbach@OunkaOnX Kissing icons is probably worse. It is idolatry; whereas kissing the wall is just a very strange political appeal to American dispensationalists voters.
@LizzieMarbach@BenZeisloft@DavidClosson Pushing laws that can’t pass doesn’t do justice. As first priority, we need to save babies by supporting the most prolife viable law then moving forward. But abolitionists undermining imperfect laws that save lives is not effectively different than supporting those baby’s death
@LizzieMarbach@BenZeisloft@DavidClosson Absolutely not. A sin issue would be someone who philosophically agrees with exceptions and would fight to keep them; however, operating prudentially for just ends is not a sin and actually Biblical “be wise as serpents and innocent as doves” (Matt. 10:16)
@deusimpera Well, pizza is Italian whereas head coverings predated Islam (all Islam did was make it evil and oppressive), so it is more like saying ‘everyone who uses roads is Italian’.
@RadioGenoa Christian women, and even pagan women, at no time have been forced to dress like that on pain of death. Islam is a uniquely evil and demonic religion.
@mitchellvii Totally wrong. We don’t want justices based on popular elections because then they will try to please constituents rather than adjudicate justly. The best reform would be for the GOP senate to vote against dem nominees with the correct accreditation but crap judicial philosophy.
