@secondaryjess I'm in central Canada and it said closest was Minnesota and Seattle so that's probably about right. This one was extremely WTF for me though, having only EVER heard of the first one.
@kino_loy That's the one! There was also one of those short "one shots" about Slattery's time in prison that was pretty amusing. I think it was only about 15 minutes. Can't remember what it was called but you can probably find it in the marvel section on D+
@kino_loy You should definitely check it out! It's on Disney. Only 8 half hour episodes, about an actor who wants to be cast as a hero he loved growing up. Becomes friends with the actor who was "the Mandarin". Don't wanna spoil any other details, but I really liked it.
@girldrawsghosts When I first saw the second season I was a bit bummed they changed the opening and didn't like it nearly as much as the first season's theme. But by the end of the season, hooo boy. The first might still be "catchier" but the second one gives me tingles.
@BibiBlossoms Knowing your love of FF specifically, I highly recommend you give Clair Obscur Expedition 33 a try if you're able! It was SO good and would certainly be right up your alley. Gave me the same feeling I got playing FFX for the first time when it was originally released.
@BibiBlossoms@c7andr7 I've gone through a couple of them over the years, so far my favourite one is by audiotechnica. They have lots of different models for varying budgets. The one I got (and still use) was about $150 Can. Ps FFX is my favourite FF and the soundtrack is so so good ๐ lovely gift.
Because I've seen so many revolting AI menus on here lately, I'd like to highlight the Tea Pot Cafe in Eltham that has a hand drawn menu and is attached to the Eltham Library
Reminder that the legendary road runner chase in Kung Fu Hustle was basically live-action Looney Tunes physics.
Stephen Chow spent hours on wires using his own blue socks as a VFX reference while his crew spun him on a rotating disc. Practical effects win every time.
