@dk_catechumen @HwsEleutheroi But the debate thesis was as defined by Nicea 2. and Nicea 2 defines kissing the icon as part of the gospel. and there is 0 evidence that the early church treated icons like that or that it was passed down by the apostles.

Why does everyone say @HwsEleutheroi Lost the debate vs Craig Truglia? Craig did not prove the thesis. All he did was show that before nicea 2 people had icons. he didnt show that veneration defined by the council was apostolic.
