Listening to Edwin Sifuna speak is like attending a free masterclass, you actually walk away knowing something 😂. This young presidential candidate was explaining to Okwara when the rain started raining on Ruto like she was a Class Two pupil. 😂
Sifuna was simply asking the right questions and giving out the exact answers.
They were supposed to sing a cute little song. Instead, Taylor Swift started making fun of the show.
Taylor Swift and Zac Efron walked out with guitars, and Zac joked that he had only just learned how to play. Taylor said she had taught him a few chords and they started playing “Pumped Up Kicks.”
At first, it looked like a normal talk-show bit. They were laughing, trying to remember the chords and messing around with the lyrics.
Then Taylor asked if they could change the words.
That's when the song became something else.
Instead of singing the original lyrics, they started joking about what it was like to be a guest on the show. Taylor sang about always being asked who she was dating and being put into awkward situations. She even brought up the time she thought there was a hidden camera in the bathroom and got so startled that she nearly fell.
The funny part is that they weren't angry about any of it. They just turned it into a song.
And honestly, that's probably why it worked so well. Zac wasn't trying to look like a great guitarist, and Taylor wasn't trying to give some perfect performance. They laughed when they forgot a chord, looked at each other when they weren't sure what came next, and just kept going.
It felt like two people making something up right there.
But underneath the joke, there was a real point. Talk shows often put celebrities in situations where they are expected to laugh, play along and answer whatever comes their way. That's part of the job, but sometimes the joke can get uncomfortable.
Taylor found a pretty clever way to push back without turning the whole thing into a confrontation.
She just sang about it.
That's what makes the clip worth watching again. Not because the guitar playing is amazing or because it's some great musical performance. It's because, for a few minutes, the guests stopped playing the roles the show expected them to play.
They were still joking.
They were just joking on their own terms.
Yes. Without a doubt.
Love is not the same as compatibility. Love is a feeling. Compatibility is a structure. Love is what draws you together. Compatibility is what keeps you together. And sometimes, the two do not align.
There are things love cannot fix:
· Differing core values
· Fundamentally different visions for the future
· Mismatched emotional needs
· Clashing communication styles
· Incompatible lifestyles
· Different levels of emotional availability or maturity
You can love someone and still feel lonely with them. You can love someone and still feel drained. You can love someone and still not feel seen, heard, or understood. That is not a failure of love. It is a failure of fit.
there is something much more engrossing when romance is written as the "SUBPLOT", and no it always serves ten times better than romance written as "main plot".
Hi Nyakundi, kindly help me expose what is happening inside UNGA Holdings Limited, and please protect my identity because I am a current employee and I fear retaliation.
UNGA Holdings Limited comprises UNGA Limited, which handles human nutrition, and UNGA Farm Care (EA) Limited, which handles animal feeds, with operations in Nairobi, Nakuru and Eldoret.
Since the recent change in top management, employees across the company have been experiencing what we believe is a deliberate campaign of intimidation, forced exits and engineered turnover. Almost the entire board is new, and many experienced employees are allegedly being frustrated until they resign, after which they are replaced by people believed to be close to the new management.
There are also serious concerns about employee privacy. We have credible reason to believe that private financial information, including M-Pesa and bank statements, may be accessed without employees’ consent and then used against them during disciplinary processes.
Employees say even ordinary personal transactions such as money received from relatives, colleagues, chama contributions, funeral contributions, medical assistance and personal loans are being questioned and sometimes treated as evidence of wrongdoing.
In one case, an employee is reportedly facing dismissal over an issue that he himself raised internally as a whistleblower more than a year ago.
Between July and August 2026 alone, more than 80 employees are said to have been dismissed under circumstances that deserve urgent scrutiny. Many employees believe the company is effectively carrying out redundancies without following the proper redundancy process or paying the full terminal benefits that would ordinarily be due.
Dismissed employees are also allegedly being subjected to additional conditions before receiving their dues, while staff say internal disciplinary procedures and provisions of the Employment Act are not being followed consistently.
There are also concerns about interference with raw material quality and final product standards. Employees who insist that proper specifications should be followed allegedly face pressure or threats, while some suppliers and contracted transporters are said to have remained unpaid for more than six months.
We are asking the Ministry of Labour to investigate the current management, interview employees who have resigned during the past eight months, and audit the dismissals carried out in July and August 2026.
We are also asking the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner and the DCI to investigate the allegations involving access to employees’ private financial records, while KEBS should independently examine the concerns being raised about product quality.
There should also be scrutiny of any restructuring or proposed sale of UNGA Limited to ensure employees are not pushed out through forced resignations simply to avoid lawful redundancy obligations.
I have supporting evidence, including redacted emails and dismissal letters, which I am willing to share through a secure channel provided my identity and safety are protected.
Please help us highlight what is happening because many employees are afraid to speak publicly.
A Concerned Employee
