SUNDAY SCHEDULE CANCELLED - Happy Father’s Day, friends of the fair! Sunday’s weather forecast appears to coming to fruition. And with the anticipated all-day rain, we’re cancelling our Sunday’s scheduled Heartland Garden Tractor Pull and carnival hours.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT UPDATE: We have two important updates to share regarding Wednesday’s program and schedule:

1) We still plan to host the pageant at the Grandstand. FRONT GATE cost is dropped to $5.

2) The Conner Family Amusement midway will not be in operation tonight.

The Domination Motorsports Southern #9 Memorial Tour takes over the Bird City Bullring on Saturday, June 20! Join us for five classes of hard hitting action on the track!

The night begins at 7 pm, with the Power Wheels Derby for the kids starting around 6:15-6:30 pm.

🎡 We received our 1903 Illinois Valley Fair tickets program! This booklet measures just 6.25” tall by 4” wide. Check out some photos from this delicate piece of our fair history.

On this day in 2015, a straight line wind storm hit Griggsville. The storm caused irreparable damage to our grandstand shell. The bleachers within suffered minimal damage and were salvaged, with a new grandstand cover constructed to replace the aged shell.

We have a fun and unique piece of fair history making its way to Griggsville. We found for sale a copy of our fair premium booklet from 1903, back when our fair was known as the Illinois Valley Fair! We’re excited to receive it and explore all that was happening on the grounds!
