Contemporary World Issues students met with Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) David Accetta to discuss his experiences while serving in Afghanistan. The kids were able to ask questions…and also loved the therapy dog that he brought to class.

Mr. Smith’s class was privileged to meet Natalie Friel, mom of 9th grader Gabriela, today at our outdoor classroom. Ms. Friel was an Army intelligence officer in Iraq from 2004-2005 and was part of the Battle of Fallujah. Amazing stories and new questions for class tomorrow!
