I'm a weird guy! I think Trinitarian Christianity is awesome, and I like strange music and make my own. I also like guns, but not Liberalism (Classical or not).
@salmon13528 @willycooper@TheHistoryGuy07 According to your intuition, maybe. By what external criteria would having that preference make someone "more moral"?
@isisbaconator > Council Communist

Like all Marxists, Pannekoek was famously a big fan of Idealism and ideologies. Almost as much as "anti-Fascism" and identity politics!
@GrubbyG33 No, you see; the truth value of a proposition is determined by how cool it sounds in the moment.
With the magic of internet histrionics, we can make objective, universal claims without such passe things as "epistemic justification" or "reasons for things".
@AlexanderTurok @ccllaazz Granted. Ergo quid? Drinking water appeals to, by quantity, mostly low-class, uneducated people. What does this imply about the truth of the claim, 'water exists'? Are truth values determined by the disposition of an arbitrary set of human minds toward it?
@_realizer@mattbramanti It's like this: if you don't trust someone with a gun, why DO you trust them with the freedom and privacy to potentially make a bomb? You don't - such actors should be made prisoners or inpatients, or deported. This leaves the RKBA intact and better addresses the main issue.
@_realizer@mattbramanti 2/2 Its existence is assumed in the 2A when it mentions this "right of the people" without elaboration. The RKBA should never be touched, but I think it's legitimate to limit non-citizens. Monitor and/or deport them as seen fit.
@_realizer@mattbramanti The 2A doesn't apply to non-citizens OR citizens, it applies to the U.S government; obliges it not to infringe on the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (RKBA) which exists independently of the constitution. Everyone on Earth, in all of history, has the RKBA. 1/2
@Chewmaca @npbeharry2019 @DNLSHLR@darwintojesus I agree, there is no actual, static objectivity outside theism. There's no sense in value judgements; using "good" or "evil" isn't justifiable without presupposing morality. So if he exists, God has done no "evil", humans have arbitrarily assigned a meaningless term to his acts.
@TheGreatKow @palmettoarmory For fun, and because a PDW is easier to fire accurately (especially with a brace) and has a marginally higher muzzle velocity than a handgun in the same caliber, while being much handier than a carbine.
But for sure, they shine most with FA.
@okokokokokmoney @TacoTruckowitz@insanefrog They didn't. The Jews didn't initially think (Talmudists still don't) their God to have a human nature or to be three persons in one, and Christians still think only one of them has a human nature. None of them thinks God killed Jesus or that God is confined to the sky.
@tejasazteca @RettiwtXus@Ur_a_Smartass_C They didn't claim militias are a right, only that they are necessary for a free state's security. Keeping/bearing arms -is- recognized as a right. It was specifically protected that militas may be possible, but I contend it exists with or without legal protection or any militia.
