Hell yeah brother! We need a national movement to stop these “year round school” nuts. Summer break should be Memorial Day to Labor Day. Without all the silly ass breaks in between. We do this to cater to the lowest common denominator, so that poor kids can get “free lunch”

My wife made a great point yesterday. Ohio is completely messing up the summer starting back mid August. It's 1 of the guaranteed 3 nice months we have, from a weather perspective. Why not start after Labor Day like we used to??? Starting mid August screws up the kids' summer!!

I live in CA, so #TamponTim's inspiration is our public school system. Last year my child's high school put pads and tampons in the boys bathrooms, for all those "people who menstruate." You won't be surprised to hear what happened next...1/

@AoDespair As a former public school teacher I was astounded. ASTOUNDED at how much food was thrown away at the end of the school day. I’m fairly conservative but there are things we can do AS A SOCIETY that can make us better. Give the food to homeless. It also should be free.
