7/26/25:Our community experienced a devastating fire this morning in Overlook where 5 townhouses were severely damaged. Boro Hall will be a collection site for donations to assist families. We will be posting needed items. Our thoughts go out to those impacted by this fire.

This weekends 100th Anniverary Celebration in Mine Hill has been postponed due to the high probability of inclement weather. All events have been rescheduled for Saturday, September 30th. The event times remain the same for the 5K, parade, festival, and fireworks.

With snow expected to begin accumulating after 5pm, residents are reminded to remove parked vehicles from the roadways in Mine Hill and Wharton. It is a violation of local ordinance in both municipalities to park on a snow covered road. Violators may be issued a summons and towed
Thank you to the Dover HS Wrestling Team, Coaches, and Athletic Director for honoring our first responders prior to the match on February 8th. Officers Be' and Norton were able to attend from Wharton PD. Many others from local police, EMS and fire departments were also honored.
Reminder, with snow expected, it is prohibited to park on the roadways of both Wharton and Mine Hill while snow covered. The local Department of Public Works employees can not do their job properly when vehicles remain parked on the road. Please share this information with others
