Okay - serious question: How do I stop random bot accounts from liking my posts? It's clear they're fake accounts but it's getting annoying to see them on my notifications.
@HornKingGrim@basedbinkie I once played a Paladin that refused to give the BBEG a 'Redemption by Death' ending.
"Even if it's the peoples' will to sentence you to death, you must be alive for their verdict. If you die now, you will only be escaping their verdict and the responsibility of your crimes."
@HornKingGrim@basedbinkie I disagree with "sacrifice makes up for the damages".
Death is an escape from responsibility. If they die, that absolves them from everything they've done. The only way to make up for the damages is to give the ones who had been hurt the ability to pass judgement.
@basedbinkie Personally; my favorite types of Redeemed characters are the ones who know they went too far. They aren't giving excuses or asking forgiveness. They know they've done bad things and are trying to make the world a better place in spite of their unforgiveable history.
@basedbinkie I remember asking this question before... How far does one have to go to be too far to be redeemed? Personally, I don't believe it's ever too late to turn around. You might not have a home to go back to and no one to support you, but being redeemed never meant being forgiven.
@RealGreyMage I'm only interested in the "No Race is inherently evil" viewpoint. I do believe that the "races" in DnD/Pathfinder do have biological and social tendencies that align them closer to evil.
@FantasiaForgeAI When a goblin looks at you with the eyes of famine like you're its next meal - there is no back away slowly. There is only run for your life, and hope you are faster than the slowest in your party.
@elvenmaidinn Something the partner did? Ngl, sounds like something I'd do if my partner fell asleep at the game after mentioning needing to do the farming/grinding.
ad done that in the past on a different game, where I got a gift card and did their dailies before logging out. XD
@FantasiaForgeAI I can see it now... The Goblin claims they're in a cruel and abusive sadistic relationship.
When asked for further context, the Goblin says: "They keep saving me but they get nothing from it! When I try stabbing them, they just flick my head and say 'no', then ignore me!"
@FantasiaForgeAI I've always wondered what sort of loop a Goblin would have if they were beaten, shown mercy, and repeatedly saved by someone stronger than them.
