@Kish_P14 It’s crazy how we simultaneously have like 6 10s and no depth at the same time.

Madders, Xavi, Kulu, Gallagher and even Kudus and Odobert.

Makes it hard to invest in the 10 but realistically we have a half fit Madders and Gallagher starting for 4 months which isn’t ideal.

@NathanAClark It feels like it’s Anderson covering for others when he should have to.

Other things that would have mitigate this:
-Kane helps Spence, Anderson stays
-Kane stays on Macca, Roger’s jumps out to Enzo

Kane and Rogers marking 1 player is an issue not Anderson.

They very much seem like players who at a minimum will maintain value with their ages.

They play 2 years here and their book value becomes pretty manageable.

@MMoritsen I agree with most of the replies here. He’s shown he’s at a minimum good enough to play in the Prem. He’s young and has above average distribution.

If he somehow tanks, you play the experience backup GK and then buy someone in Jan

Yeah maybe we paid an extra £5m, but now we get to focus on other important targets and Van Hecke gets to come to London right after the end of the WC.
