Much of his focus in recent years has been on battles over cultural issues that align with DeSantis’ agenda, including sponsoring legislation to bar the teaching of critical race theory and ending treatment for transgender minors. If he becomes FAU president, it would be a severe blow to education in Florida.

A long time ago, the GQP had already wanted to control the education industry. During the Trump administration, they attempted to cut funding for public education organized by the AFT teachers' union, destabilize public education, and implement inhumane racist policies while attacking facts and democracy. There are also many morally corrupt principals, such as former Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr. who resigned due to a sex scandal, and the current president of Purdue University Mung Chiang, who is accused of bribing a former president with a large sum of money. How can these people ensure that our children receive a good education?

For the sake of our children's future, let's vote blue.

BREAKING: Jamie Raskin has shared a health update and says “Chemotherapy has extinguished the cancer cells.”

Raskin says Friday will be his final treatment of chemotherapy for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

“It’s almost extinguished me in the process, but I’m hanging in there. I’m gonna make it through,” Raskin said. He joked that doctors have promised him that his eyelashes, eyebrows, and hair will come back “one day soon, so fingers crossed there.”

Raskin was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in December.
