@KnowingBetterYT I answered Hawaiian, but legally may be they weren't. Especially if this was explicitly forbidden. Though the formal naturalization could be quite recent phenomenon and thus they were naturalized just because land principle was the only one in existence back then
“What’s behind the rise of Germany’s far right?”
You guys just had an anti-gay terrorist attack because you gave a guy who tried to join ISIS a suspended sentence if he agreed to go to talk therapy and then didn’t put him under surveillance
Have you considered not doing that?
@GottheimerHater@LinkofSunshine Yes, I borrow a lump sum of the CURRENT rent and that way the inflation is on my side. While a renter pays both an inflation adjusted rent and also profit margin that is also adjusted to reflect the inflation.
@GottheimerHater@LinkofSunshine Again. I'd rather have a partly depreciating asset than a constantly growing liability.
Yes, homeowners benefit from the current policy (actually they will also benefit from almost any policy). So why wouldn't I want to become a homeowner myself?
@GottheimerHater@LinkofSunshine Obviously it's common. So is homeownership (currently around 65%).
Moving is not a bonus. It's a cost to improve your life.
Also I just realized that if home is a depreciating asset, then rent is an increasing liability.
@LinkofSunshine Also now owning a home means you can easily make your transportation costs go to zero through solar panels with an electric car and decrease you utilities cost.
@LinkofSunshine Yes, renting is better than owning as an investment. But owning has other benefits like having a place to live your whole life. Also even as an investment a bank will give you more money to buy a house that to invest. So lower rate of return can give you a higher return overall
@ChrisKorpse@charlieINTEL Pillars 2 has sold very badly. Avowed was a chance to get a budget for pillars 3, but it didn't sell (or maybe obsidian was fucked over).
So now they will print fallout 76s until they become independent.
Nobody is getting fallout new vegas from a studio owned by the current Xbox.
@xaviersonline_ I 100%ed multiple Skyrim versions.
But I'm not going to buy Skyrim on release, because now i don't have time to play something very long. So I have a huge backlog of good games.
Also I kinda don't care anymore. It has been years since I stopped watching TES content.
@posta_octavian But this policy does nothing to address the facts that you think are a problem.
Sick leave per telephone is only available because Germany wanted to lessen the healthcare costs. There's nothing that is going to stop me from going to the doctor to get sick leave anyways
It's so scary to think we have to find somewhere to store the dangerous waste like a desert or underground or something, which is a major problem unlike with fossil fuels where we safely store the waste in the atmosphere and our lungs
Sony: *announces the end of physical discs by 2028*
Also Sony the same day: *will close PS3 and PS Vita stores by 2027*
They really think you're dumb enough to not see the problem
Realizing crime is bad has been my biggest political growth the last 5 years
Even if we spent more on enforcing fair evading than we get on missing fairs, that would be fine. People seeing people regularly jump fares without consequences makes people angry and more conservative
I block out the time to meet with you and you're late... so I should reflect on why you being late makes me upset???
What in the therapyspeak nonsense is this...
@NickJS@MikePaddyfield@TypeForVictory@LukeDyks What a dumb argument. Even in 2026 UK still builds new houses.
This stupid discussion is at least 10 years old. A house could easily be built in 2 years
@LinkofSunshine Cancer screenings on a general population has a net negative effect. This is true. There are some cases where a person with increased risk or some symptoms will get the benefit. So if your doctor suggests it. It's probably going to be better to do it.
