@panotiller IMO, Syngenta atz is the best mixing. Lumax Lexar, accuron etc. You’re paying for that usability by buying name brand. What I’ve been doing that last few years is buying bulk Bicep. Lets me get my Atz in a bulk shuttle. Spike in generic Callisto to make lumax.
@MI_beef@panotiller@AgFreeAgent@FarmersEdgeAC R&D departments from the private sector count on hiring scientists that were educated by public universities. A strong US chem and seed industry is still very much dependent on sourcing educated scientists from somewhere.
@Sgflint@okkefromuskogee@RocknRollAgrnmy@bmreadel @SarahLovas1 We have some, and I recognize it’s benefits. Manure ammonia volatilization and nutrient stratification keeps me tilling though. We have been heavy on cover crops though for 8 years on everything.
@steveconaway1 I’m a little confused how you guys say acres relates to net income? If you’re a BTO farming 3000 acres with 2800 rented at the highest rental rates around. The farmer that farms 400 acres of paid for land is probably making more money than the big shot.
Had to get some post wheat harvest burndown done today before we jump in the truck and head for the the @AgPhDFieldDay on Thursday! 18 hours one way! @darrenhefty@AgPhDMedia
@CBKimbrell@bl_ag_inc Hard to pay down debt when your inputs go through the roof. Or when you have to give up your rented ground because somebody else is willing to take a 3 year lease at a crazy number.
@MrBissell_917 Conventional producers trying to convince themselves that this is the new price plateau... There’s no way we’re going back to 3.60 and 9.75...
