In the 90s, high school kids would say that being "wholesome" was "corny" or "not cool".
Those kids grew up and some had kids of their own.
We can look at these middle age people and conclude that wholesome, well, works.
I've learned so much about homeschooling over the years. My eldest children graduate in a year so the experiment being nearly done now gives me a great deal of feedback!
Despite learning challenges, health challenges, and financial constraints we've managed well and I've been brutally honest with myself about our successes and failures.
Taking from my experience and what I've heard from fellow homeschooling parents, I'm making a homeschooling app which serves as a hub or homeschooling manager to help parents derive resources and ideas as well as the much needed structure and rhythm (all from a classical education foundation which includes built-in critical character formation!)
Follow me here and at @Wholesomeworks to get updates on this. I will need some early testers for feedback, DM me if interested!
Soon launching a free resource to help parents identify strengths and gaps in their child's character.

The stuff I'm building is to help people with those skills that the last 30 years hasn't taught them. How to get along with other personality types, basic social graces in all kinds of settings, how to discern well, how to determine the quality of things, etc.
AI and robotics may (maybe) give us a life of material and time abundance, but if people don't know how to be with each other or how to engage in quality leisure, none of it will truly matter.

@Jbm_dev Yeah, I'm a homemaker, homeschooling mom, cooking everything from scratch, and vibe coding like a maniac. I'm sure I look insane. But I like what I'm building so it can't be helped!
@kallosvoid @KaiXCreator I'm not, I mean it makes sense to me and I'm just having a good time trying to build things I care about. Not here to pretend I'm anything but a beginner who is taking advantage of fun new tech.
@KaiXCreator Maybe you're right! But I know nothing about programming and just started vibe coding some apps. Maybe you could tell me if they're halfway decent or not.
Wholesome Works is an idea many years in the making.
I'm so happy to share with you all now.
Check out our apps on the website. We have Little Canvas, a Vibe Coding Parent Guide, and more!
