After a decade of attending the #SSPX, we realized that Abp. Lefebvre was wrong about #Sedevacantism and its new leadership doesn't do half the good he did.
We're just a simple #Catholic family. We do not consider ourselves to be erudite in the Faith. We're trying to act coherently with the perennial teaching of the Church, which is why we distanced ourselves from the confusion and contradictions voiced by the leaders of the #SSPX.
🧵With this thread, we intend to highlight the most relevant things we faced during this process that led us to Sedevacantism. This will be helpful for those that are in the same situation, but fear ending up outside the Church because of false claims against Sedevacantism. 1/
If only Darrick Taylor had read a pre-Vatican II encyclical, he wouldn't have such a negative view of encyclicals: https://t.co/UKSiiUDIR6 He would perhaps also understand that their contents are indeed binding, not only in their principles but also their application.
Fr. Bianchetti continues:
“Now then, if authority is the highway to the truth, then for most people, it will suffice to basically get on that train and allow themselves to be brought to the truth. The problem we begin to have is when the authority, instead of preaching the truth, preaches error. And there we have a small problem, because if the authority is designed so that the majority of people can arrive at the truth, if the authority preaches error, guess what? The majority of people will fall into error.”
This is why the SSPX has done so much harm to the faithful by continuing to recognize the "authority" of the conciliar/synodal claimants. The vast majority of Catholics have fallen into error precisely because they believe they are following the false authority of the Conciliar/Synodal Church, believing it to truly be the Catholic Church.
Knowing this, why does the SSPX refuse to join its voice to those who have recognized the objective reality that the Apostolic See is currently vacant? If they were to do so, then they could truly say that they're fighting for the whole Church. Unfortunately, all their words, actions, and contradictions indicate that they are only fighting for their own organizational survival at the cost of the souls of Catholics around the world, be they SSPX attendees or otherwise. (8/8)
🧵Prepare yourselves for the most recent anti-Catholic declarations from this new conference by the SSPX Colombia in its obstinate desire to prove themselves right.
Everything indicates that the SSPX has gone into a “desperation/self-defense” attack phase, which has become increasingly evident as we get closer to the spectacle of the upcoming Écône consecrations.
The paradoxical and ridiculous thing is that many of these declarations call the SSPX itself out without their realizing it.
Once again, Fr. Pablo Bianchetti has helmed the shameful conference titled “Can a Catholic ignore the Pope? – The Dilemma of Obedience in Times of Crisis,” which was uploaded to the Bogota priory’s YouTube channel this past June 1st.
In this instance, you will see how Fr. Bianchetti doesn't just affirm that a pope can “promote”, “favor”, and “sign” heresies (as we covered in a previous thread), but goes even further, assuring that we have indeed had “impostors who are also the pope”, as well as “heretic popes” who continue being popes.
You will also see how Fr. Bianchetti bases himself on the fallacies put forth by John Salza and Robert Siscoe to attack Sedevacantism, all the while making sure to keep the faithful in the dark on where exactly he got these "arguments" from. He was not so foolish as to credit his former allies who now attack the SSPX in support of the Novus Ordo.
Lastly, you will confirm how the SSPX and the Cassiciacum Thesis share more similarities than differences, especially seeing how Fr. Bianchetti radically defends his own interpretation of the perpetual succession of the Papacy, contending that the Church would otherwise disappear altogether. (1/8)
Now let's take a look at what Fr. Bianchetti said earlier in the conference at timestamp 18:23:
“The solution for all men to come to the truth is authority. That’s why Christ establishes the Papacy, in order to transmit the truth, so that all men can quickly and easily receive the complete truth without errors.”
How is it possible that he can speak so clearly and correctly about the reality of the guiding authority of the Papacy, and then simultaneously claim that this same authority established by Our Lord to transmit the truth to humanity can lead us straight to error? How can you accept both of these positions as true? (7/8)
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to highlight important information about this "devotion" that was already condemned by the Church.
From a non-sedevacantist source:
"What is wrong with the Divine Mercy devotion?
First, when this devotion fell under the attention of Pius XII, he was concerned not with the prayers of the devotion, but with the circumstances of the so-called apparitions to Sr. Faustina and their content. That is, he was concerned with what Our Lord supposedly told Sr. Faustina and what he told her to make public. [...]
So, Pius XII put the writings of Sr. Faustina on the Index of Prohibited Books. That meant that he considered that their content would lead Catholics astray or in the wrong direction." (emphasis added)
"The writings of the Polish Sr. Faustina herself, published in English in 2007, pose cause for concern. The work has 640 pages and transcribes frequent supposed apparitions and messages from Our Lord.
This long thread of statements supposedly from Our Lord to Sr. Faustina has some things that would make a correct-thinking Catholic very uneasy, to say the least. I will exemplify by taking a few quotes from her writings.
On October 2, 1936, she states that the 'Lord Jesus' appeared to her and said, 'Now, I know that it is not for the graces or gifts that you love Me, but because My Will is dearer to you than life. That is why I am uniting Myself with you so intimately as with no other creature.' (Divine Mercy in My Soul, The Diary of Sr. Faustina, Stockbridge, MA: Marian Press, 1987, p. 288)
How can we believe that Our Lord has united Himself more intimately with Sr. Faustina than with the Blessed Virgin Mary? At first, we might read this and think, 'Oh, that's beautiful.' But later it may hit you, 'Wait a minute, Our Lord united Himself more intimately with Sr. Faustina than with any other creature? Our Lady was the Immaculate Conception, but she was also His creature, she was created by Him as the rest of us were, albeit with the greatest exalted position free from original sin from the very beginning.'
And now are we expected to believe that Our Lord told Sr. Faustina that He is more united to her than anybody else, even the Blessed Virgin Mary, and certainly more than all the other Saints? This affirmation smacks of pride in itself, let alone the assertion that it came from Heaven."

Sedevacantism is the schismatic belief that the papal seat has been vacant since 1958. Sedes are using the current moment to recruit followers. Some came from SSPX, and the same impulse drives both “traditionalist” movements: the desire to be their own pope and magisterium.
50 years later and the Society is STILL keeping the faithful in a position of hoping for acceptance from the Modernists occupying the Vatican.
Reject R&R.
What ought the Catholic response be, to the Modernist crisis brought on by the false council Vatican II?
Then-Fr. Robert Neville explains, in a 1997 letter he wrote his superior at the SSPX, when leaving the Society. https://t.co/oeheUqtv1d
'Bishop' Athanasius Schneider is back with more of his ideas regarding the SSPX: https://t.co/uxmWqT2hrD He should submit his 'Credo' catechism to examination by Rome some time and see if he submits to Fernandez's judgment.
Concerning this topic, we must be brutally honest: we attended various SSPX pilgrimages in the past, and at no point did we give any thought to the contradictions inherent to our behavior. We simply trusted in what our priests told us.
This is why we want to thank Our Lord for His Mercy towards us, for giving us the docility to read/listen to the works of those great defenders of the Church such as @NovusOrdoWatch, @WireCatholic, @LouieVerrecchio, @TheWMReview, @Radical_Fidelit, Fr. Cekada †, Bp. Pierre Roy, Bp. Altamira, Bp. Pivarunas and the CMRI clergy, among others.
We never would have developed these reflections about the importance of our actions as Catholics and their grave consequences if we had not dropped our fear of reading the solid and objective arguments of these faithful sons of the Church concerning the ongoing vacancy of the Apostolic See. May Our Lord keep His blessings upon them! Their perseverance has not been in vain.
We want SSPX attendees to understand that we're not attacking them; we want to help them to wake up as we did, and we would like to see their priests do the same.
It is our desire to fight the good fight and defend Holy Mother Church!

Why does the SSPX dare to take the faithful on pilgrimages and visits to Catholic churches currently controlled by the conciliar/synodal Church? Furthermore, how have they dared to celebrate Holy Mass in some of those churches, such as the case of the SSPX in Colombia at the Basilica of Our Lady de Chiquinquirá since 2023, or the case of †Bp. Tissier de Mallerais at All Souls Church in Sanford, Florida for the 2023 confirmations?
There are only two options to answer that question:
1: The SSPX doesn't believe that Novus Ordo masses produce transubstantiation and, as such, they do not fear entering sanctuaries where they would otherwise be profaning the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ due to particles of the Sacred Host being scattered on the floor. (Even in this case, there would still be the question of whether those temples need to be reconsecrated or not.)
2: The SSPX does believe that Novus Ordo masses produce transubstantiation, but they don't care that they themselves could be stepping on particles of the Body and Blood of Our Lord.
In either case, they are gravely deceiving their faithful. In the first case, they would be concealing what they actually think of the Novus Ordo and its clergy, and in the second case, they would be allowing the faithful to commit the same grave profanation that Novus Ordo laity allegedly fall into.
This is madness!!!

Fake Bibles prepare you for a false understanding of the NT by perverting the OT. Laban/Jacob were unc/nephew, but rendered brothers in the Bible, because that is how scripture renders the relationship. Fake Bibles change this so as to then allege that Christ had actual siblings.
@liturgicalife This is tragic! It's incredible to see how these SSPX priests love to feign humility while posts such as these betray an air of self-confidence and arrogance. This is antithetical to sanctity! A pity for the laity that trust them blindly.
This man could not spew SUCH nonsense openly had his Society not first perverted teaching on papal infallibility and the Church's indefectibility for 5 long decades.
Another big question that we've asked ourselves about the #SSPX: Why didn't they ask Francis for authorization to consecrate more bishops, especially given that Bergoglio was very generous with them?
Everything indicates that they didn't want to be approved by such a shamelessly scandalous "pope."
On the other hand, Leo XIV must seem very papal to them, even though he is continuing with the anti-Catholic progressive agenda of V2.
If the SSPX leaders truly understand that the Church finds herself in a state of necessity, the decisions they have made would indicate the contrary.
They are not fighting to defend and protect the entire Church, but just for their own survival.
