In Wigan, Reform won 96% of the seats on 46% of the votes.
In Westminster, the Conservatives won a majority on 35%, while @TheGreenParty won 18% of the votes without gaining a single seat.
The time to change the voting system is *now* @MakeVotesMatter
@BulwarkOnline@campbellclaret How did you let him get away with making that point? America is better than European countries because... we don't have tumble dryers? Both bullshit and irrelevant.
@Robbie_Gibbs@Scopes29@fia@F1 I wasn't convinced after Australia, China was good though. I'm curious to see what difference this change makes. But the drivers need more confidence in their cars, I'm not sure that's going to come this year. Next year is where these new regs will come in to their own I think.
@Scopes29@fia@F1 Again you're using the wrong definition of success. But to your point, this is F1. The point is for teams to out-develop each other by interpreting the regs differently. Any other PUM could have done what Mercedes has done. I like the close racing these regs have brought us.
@tepha_na@Scopes29@fia@F1 Operationally successful here is a technical term tantamount to "the races can be completed under the established parameters of the regs". The problems the drivers have with them can be tweaked as the season progresses. This season will be rough, next season will be the true test
@Scopes29@fia@F1 "Operationally successful" in the sense that the regs technically work, what's now needed is fine-tuning to make them better - iterative improvement. AM's issue is nothing to do with the regs and to do with having a PU that isn't reliable. Honda dropped the ball on their engine.
@MsSpydaSam@marty_lawrance@AlexHorne@kumailn@joeldommett@Aiannucci Who fucking cares just watch the show, often the people I think are going to be the weakest end up being the best contestant of the series. Stop moaning and enjoy the free entertainment. Get a life, jesus.
@RegulationPod A D?! Are you insane? Wispa is absolute top tier Cadbury chocolate, you're all insane.
You don't deserve any more chocolate, @GavinFree don't waste any more A+ chocolate on the lads, keep it for yourself
@LemonLymancom She was a stand-out side character, sorely underused. The chemistry she had with the rest of the ensemble could've contributed so much more!
@EverydayBritain@ZackPolanski Who. Cares. I'm tired of letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. Zack has got the Greens talking about the issues that matter to people. I don't need him to be working class, I need him to care about them first before everyone else.
