What The Hook is rewriting how value flows in DeFi @whatthehookv4
Arbitrage always happens. External MEV bots have extracted over one point seven nine billion dollars in measured cross pool profits since twenty twenty one. That number is only the floor.
What The Hook turns that leakage into retained value for the people who actually create it.
Live on Robinhood Chain since early August this is a native Uniswap v four hook. When a swap opens a price gap between connected pools the hook detects it captures the correction and settles everything inside the exact same transaction. No off chain bots. No private relays. Pure on chain atomic execution.
The split is clean.
On WTH pools the swapper keeps ten percent while the treasury takes ninety percent.
On integrating pools liquidity providers receive forty five percent the treasury forty percent referrals ten percent and the swapper five percent.
All of it comes only from realized positive profit after fees and costs. No profit means no payout.
Token projects simply create two or more v four pools with the WTH hook preset. Their LPs start earning an extra revenue layer on top of normal swap fees the moment price divergence appears. Traders get cashback. The protocol captures sustainable treasury flow.
Technically the system is elegant.
It uses Uniswap v four beforeSwap and afterSwap callbacks. Bounded approved routes only. Realized balances only. Same transaction settlement. It also reaches into v three pools and even propAMM venues for tokenized stocks quoted in USDG. Triangular routes are live. Three leg corrections expand the surface without opening endless search.
Core modules stay separated: approved pool list route checker executor and payout ledger. That design makes the code easier to reason about test and pause if needed.
Already past one hundred thirty thousand dollars distributed. Over five thousand ETH in arbitrage volume captured. Pipeline of new integrations growing. Interface improvements make hooking a token nearly one click. Expansion to Base Arc and more EVM chains is coming.
This is not another yield farm. This is value retention infrastructure.
Retention beats extraction.
LPs get paid more. Traders get rebates. Projects unlock a new revenue stream without changing their core token.
