Ha! Something I can very much relate too! In the early days, some people told me I should be dating already. I didn't feel ready... Now that I am ready and dating, other people tell me its too soon! #CantBloodyWin

Received another letter from a @NHSOrganDonor transplant recipient. This one was even more emotional than the last! These letters out the blue both destroy me and help heal me at the same time. Hard to explain... If it wasn't such a personal thing, I'd share the letter here.

Just received a letter out the blue from one of my late partners' transplant recipients. Very thoughtful of them to reach out. Boy was it emotional to read. So moving to hear how their lives have been literally saved. Speechless. (And can't stop crying) @NHSBT @NHSOrganDonor

@achrischavez @maryanne_pope If I ignore what's happened and crack on with life, I generally don't cry and 'forget' what's happened. But then someone asks me about the kids/work/money/how I'm doing and I just swell up.

I'm beginning to hate it.

And that just makes me want to think even less about it all

Pretty sure I've cried at least once every single day since becoming a widow. Sometimes conversation triggers it, sometimes a song, an event, a memory. Often it's when I'm alone in the car.

I'm not ashamed, but I have no control over it happening!
