I think Anthropic is going to mega-dump post IPO and never go back up.
lol.
Like it’s bad. They have nothing…they ACTUALLY have nothing. They’ve been riding off of the good graces Opus 4.5 gave them a year ago.
repeat after me
"no moat"
now, this is doubly true when you are actively hostile to all your customers, have your models secretly sabotage themselves, and are aggressive with things that don't matter like claude code being closed source
good luck w/ the IPO!

Boring Company is working on a simple, precursor Hyperloop tunnel between Austin and San Antonio (>200 mph).
Due to traffic congestion, that journey can currently take up to 2.5 hours. @BoringCompany can reduce that to a consistent <30 mins.
@chxrles Native app is the whole thing
Feels more fluid, you can actually see it’s browser, has access to all the iOS system level APIs and tie ins
Try it - the UX is very good
“Supreme Intelligence,” probably because of its relationship to the Supreme Court, is losing badly to both “Superior” and “Extreme Intelligence.” Therefore, we are going to take “Supreme Intelligence” OUT, deleting it as a qualifier, and let you vote for the Final Two: Superior Intelligence, or Extreme Intelligence. A fresh Vote begins now! President DONALD J. TRUMP
Yep. After two years, physical human labor will pay like crazy and employ billions until robots are orders of magnitude more productive than all humans combined. I give it all about 10 years. The road to superabundance.
In the tail end of that it’s voluntary genetic upgrades and age reversal and cognitive enhancements and cybernetics for vast fractions of humans, I think.
Billions of IQ 200ish minds in the cloud is a hell of a teammate for humanity’s survival in the physical world. They can do all the above and more. And in just a few years, will begin to.
This arguement is designed to sound just reasonable and plausible enough without being either of those things.
1) The market votes with its dollars. People want agents.
2) Advancements in one area have a hummingbird effect in adjacent areas, i.e. progress on less altruistic things speed progress in altruistic things.
3) It's a “limited pie" + "planned economy" understanding where we have limited dollars so we should only direct them to more altruistic stuff through the wise wisdom of the state. In reality the biggest commercially successful companies have time to spend on stuff that makes less money. That's how we got Bell labs.
4) There is no path to "company makes no money and goes all in on solving cancer." You need a flywheel.
5) Finally, there is already a tremendous amount of AI in biotech/pharma and has been for years, for everything from clinical trial analysis to candidate selection to drug design so it's a specious argument at best and deliberately misleading at worst.
BREAKING: It is discussed on Reddit that $META is renting a tremendous amount of “old-fashioned” machines on large clusters of 256-512GB CPU memory to accommodate the compute need of Muse.
This basically means that the demand for CPU should go absolutely parabolic. Extremely bullish for $AMD $INTC
Muse Spark 1.3 is better than Fable 5.1 and it doesn’t even feel close. Claude is always so unpleasant to work with and also kind of a sociopath (lies all the time, demeans you occasionally).
Muse Code needs to improve their CLI interface, but that’s it imo.
@alexandr_wang
Yeah, it is.
I was holding onto grok bot for a few days but I just wasn’t using it over Muse.
I think if you’re running a business grok bot is the better fit. But if you’re just optimizing your day to day and want a super intelligent assistant…Muse is being called the best for a reason. 🤷♂️
Code reviews and specifically diffs from working branches have been a nightmare post Claude code/codex.
“I’ve been working on this branch away from master for 5 months because I didn’t want to mess with anything haha, ready for me to merge now? It says it’s 400,000 lines of code is that normal?”
