Every day, you have opportunities to do something like this for someone, keep your head up today & maybe you'll find a way to put some good in the world for someone.
Meanwhile in Canada:
During a severe thunderstorm, an elderly man was unable to cross the road.
When random strangers saw him — they ran over to help him cross.
This is what kindness looks like.

@lilyraynyc The opposite is also true, I've seen AI reason "why would I show wil's company to him, he obviously knows his own company" that was back in the o3 days.
So @wilreynolds published the best explainer about AI brand building we've seen
👎"You can’t become hardwired with scaled content, listicles, and chunking. Those are tactics."
👍"When content wins hearts and minds you’ve actually created a flywheel for your algorithmic traffic"
@TheCoolestCool@amandaorson This post made me reflect on how lazy I've gotten, I think when you get a a certain amount of distribution from a single post, you get lazy. Luckily today I reposted something I really believed in and it got some movement. Imma step my game up.
[Open source tool] - There feels like 100 different GEO tactics, each with tradeoffs. I open sourced my personal tool after having several failed conversations with clients around "what should we do, what is the risk, and how quickly can I see results".
This tool keeps me focused and shows them the tradeoffs and risks in real time, helping me build strategy much faster.
The tool is interactive so play with it, give me feedback, and it's also on my git. So feel free to make it better for all!!

This is why you are hearing so much more about the importance of brand in LLMs, ChatGPT 5.5 is running branded searches for query fan outs a lot more. We're using our own site as an example here, check your industry too.

Diversity creates friction. Because different people from
different backgrounds have
different cultures and
Different norms.
The United States by it's nature will always have some friction because we are different people from very different cultures yet somehow we find a way to keep it pushing.
I'm always grateful when I see a groups of people on my walks around the city and I see a group of Asian people and can say to myself they could be foreign and they could be Americans.
Groups of black & brown people and say
They could be foreign and they could be Americans
Groups of Russian people and say
They could be foreign and they could be Americans
Then you walk the streets and you smell all those different foods, you hear all those different accents, and you think...
This is also America and all that diversity causes friction, arguments, misunderstandings, and I'm here for all of it, cause fuck living somewhere where everyone is pretty much looking the same, having the same culture, and the same norms and the same foods, and the same way of doing things.
This is not unique to America but it's what I love about this place, warts and all.
@ChrisCarberg I think when zuck set out to build an AI competitor, the goal was to make the big players dance. Not to have a great AI for the ads business ya know?
Expanding your network humbles you. The bigger your circle of people who you really admire and get to know, the more you reralize your shit ain't as good as you thought. It's easy to think you are great when you intentionally compete in small circles. Whole big fish small pond thing.
I just got humbled by a coworker, I'm doing all this awesome stuff and just saw what he was working on and was like "let me shut my laptop off and watch you" :)
I want that, I want people who I look at their shit and it makes me be like "dang son, I gotta learn".
The more you become a "thought leader" the easier it is to believe your own "greatness" when the real humbling comes when you see others work at a deeper level and it makes you wanna be better, not from a bunch of people gassing your head telling you how great you are.
I'm trying to hire people today who make me wanna step my game up, and want to be surrounded by a group of people who do the same for them. This ai stuff is changing so fast you gotta be around people trying things out and learning as much as you can.
